Well kudos to Prime 1 team they are keeping the bust priced reasonably. It's really nice to see a company that's not driven by greed and gluttony

Have they lost the plot?! WTF.

Indeed I have the option to get rid of the European middleman and purchase it from Prime 1 directly 800$ decal thingy plus 1000$ shipping and 600$ import duties. I must say both options are very tempting hmmmm...

Right now I'm waiting a book from the UK book is 6.49£ and standard shipping speed is 17.50£ plus import duties. Fun times...

Some of these prices on the bust are hilarious. Bunch of jokers can't really expect to sell any surely, there must be another plan here. I'm guessing it's to try and make the full statue seem more reasonable, sell as many of those as you can and then re-list the bust cheaper, win win for them if they manage to suck in enough customers.

Crazy indeed. The 1:1 Sideshow Bust cost me 1K which seemed expensive at the time.
Makes me regret selling the 3 1:2 busts I had.

STILL a must-have for any fan of the franchise. It's never dropped out of my top 6 licensed collectibles (ditto for its CoolProps City Hunter brother).

Mine was bought during the initial release (mid 2005) for $650 USD, so even with the shipping, import duties & a crappy exchange rate at the time, ended up costing only $1,055 CAD.

Absolutely AMAZING piece.

The two best, mainstream, busts ever produced imho.

For these prices I can probably travel to Thailand and live six months with the amazing sculptor Narin while he makes me my custom statue. Mind blowing sculpting and over the top paint application with unique 1 statue scarcity. Guys 11.500€ plus shipping for 5 boxes ( I've read super duper version comes in four and one box for the bust ) and we're way past 12K mark. Even if I would be laying Faberge eggs it's still a big no no. Because of the principle...

Easily the best Predator sculptor on the planet . . . and so humble!

No doubt these prices are astronomical.

Narin is a crazy talent, but the accuracy of his sculpts can’t compare to Prime 1’s Jungle Hunter. He’s a visionary and his contribution to the Predator hobby is immense, but P1’s 1/3 Jungle and City Hunters are miles ahead of everything he produced.

Prolific indeed and an incredible talent. But not for movie-accurate sculpts.

We'll have to disagree on that one bud - Narin's Jungle Hunter, City Hunter and other movie-related sculpts are the best I've ever seen.

He mostly does non-movie stuff (and designs THOSE better than ANYONE), but when he decides to go "canon" - he has those NAILED.

.

While I'll happily agree he's one of the best -- his Wolf and Predalien busts are my two favorite representations of those characters -- I don't think the matter is cut-and-dry when his sculpts are still a bit idealized. That gives them an undeniable appeal and helps them come alive, but it makes the movie accuracy conversation difficult.

Every Predator sculpt has its imperfections, be it the softness of the sculpt, the gesture or personality, the overall proportions, the micro details, etc. and we value each of these areas differently, making concessions in those that aren't as important to us. For you, the tubbiness of the 1/3 JH hurts the product and that's understandable. Another factor is the shady company manufacturing him, whereas Narin has rightfully earned the trust and admiration of his fans through years of top-notch artistry and reliability. Though it's an important factor, it's got nothing to do with the sculpt. On that front, no one's really nailed the character yet. Even the SWS has its well-documented issues. But we get closer each time and, hopefully, learn from what came before.*

*It certainly would be nice if the sculpt and business conversations overlapped in this aspect.
