i got mine also 4 weeks ago and i absolutely love the piece without having a perfect Heath Ledger Face... but the intense and determend look is really great.
A face of a person does have so many facial expressions that i need not that "perfect" ledger...

Tetsu shared another video on their IG stories of their reworked headsculpt and I'm while I still don't think the headsculpt is 100%, it is VASTLY improved with proper styling of the hair. From what I can tell, Tetsu didn't rehair the sculpt, just styled the existing hair properly and it looks so much better

It is not so simple to style that hair. it is very strong in that position.
Not saying that it is. Tetsu does custom hair work so they have experience with how to style rooted hair. Just noting that if those who have this can work with the hair, it would really improve the over all appearance IMO. Of course, I don’t have one, so my opinion doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things :lol

To restyle it you would need to completely wash out the product and start again, being careful not to strip the colour.

Personally I'm really happy with how the hair looks on mine so I won't be doing that, but I do love what Tetsu done with this piece.

You can restyle it simple enough with how it comes. just poof it out quite a bit, replace strands so there's a bit of overlap and volume with each of the strands. Ideally I would love to separate the product from the roots only and lift some green from the base. I've already trimmed his front hair as it fell too long imo, the proto was better so I cut it similarly.

I mean a complete restyle, like this:

@xpl0sive yup that’s exactly what I was referring to. Tetsu posted a new IG story the other day with more angles and I just thought it helped the likeness out so much with the hair done right. But like I said, I have no dog in this race and I wasn’t trying to say anything negative about this piece at all like what’s going on in The Batman thread. It was more of being wowed by what it could look like vs how it looks straight out of the box

It does man. Some of these came out of the box with horrible hair tbh, so it doesn't surprise me that restyling it drastically improved the likeness. I shared these pics a while back and even those who didn't think it looked like him before thought it looked way better with just a hair restyle.

Didn't think you were trying to say anything negative btw, all good. What's going on in the Batman thread is just silly, and nothing but trolling. Someone hating on an unrelated statue for literally no reason lol.

It does look very good like that. To be honest I think they should have gotten it closer to this, more akin to WW hairstyling which is their best. But even then I think Tetsu's looks a bit too glamerous. Either way it can definitely be made to be styled better from straight out of the box without having to a major redo of it.

Pure trolling in the Batman thread.

It can definitely be futzed out of the box to look better for sure. Just takes a bit of time.
