Anyone have pics of what the buckles for the side straps on the Raider's jacket should look like? I want to change the generic ones Mike put on his, but want to make sure I try to get something as close as possible in shape and color before going through the trouble. Thanks!

So one of the most frustrating parts of my Present Toys Raider falling through was that now I was jonesing for a 1/6 Indy but didn’t want to go through the investment of piecing one together, as both the time and money it would have taken seemed too daunting. As luck would have it though, someone on the custom forums was selling a ready to go custom for a steal!
It’s not new to regulars of the thread as it was definitely posted in here by the previous owner, but I’m so happy to have such a great figure to represent Raiders Indy. Even though part of the fun of customs is the build, it’s nice to have something that’s shelf ready.

I think you got yourself a pretty big upgrade there from the Present Toys ! The Mfisher Kit on it alone is more than the cost of the Present Toys . I use alot of the same parts on this one I my custom Indy like the SS pants and belt and Mfisher set. What is used for the sachel and boots?

Yeah it was an amazing set, I’m very surprised how well the Sideshow pants hold up for being almost 15 years old. I believe the satchel is the Hot Toys bag with the strap replaced, and I picked up a pair of boots from BlackOpsToys. They’re a decent sculpt of the Aldens, but they just come cast in brown so they need some work.

Congrats on the pickup! :clap The SS pants are great -- good size, color, drape. I added a tiny bit of RIT Pearl Gray to them when I had them, they take the dye well.

Hey guys, got a bit of a long question here,
I’m really looking to put together an ideal Indy(Leather jacket, gloves and all)
I currently own a Hot toys Indy and the new present toys Indy, and my current recipe is as follows
PT Head, Shirt, Gunbelt
HT Jacket(Starting to Crack), Holster, Bag(have to replace the strap) pants and boots
And a damtoys Body (photo attached)

But it’s just not cutting it anymore, the shirt is too stiff, the jacket is too tight on the arms and loose on the torso, and all this piles up to make the neck look super short,
so my biggest question is what can I do to rectify these issues?
Should I get a new body? If so, what?
Is there a alternative jacket I can get and where?
Also if anyone can recommend some good alternative pants as the HotToys ones only fit due to some leg modifications and if I swap the body I’m unsure if they’ll fit.
Sorry for the tangent, hope you guys can help

I use an old Hot Toys Trutype body on my Indy and you can get knock off bodies on ebay for around $30 . The body is much more slender and should fit the pants and shirt just fine , plus it will fit the HT boots and present toys Indy head.

Jacket wise I use the old KOTCS SS Indy jacket ,it's on the low end but gets the job done. You can go the custom route but they run $200or better. If you have the present toys jacket you can try leather conditioner and lightly sand it with 1000 grit sand paper to make it more supple.
