Howdy!

I'm currently working on a 1/6 scale diorama of Din Djarin's souped up N1 starfighter. At first I was thinking about just making the cockpit, but after some thought I reckon I will need to include the iconic hotrod scoop and the converted astromech compartment at the rear. The result is a 25-26" (64-66cm) diorama, which can feature a full cockpit interior plus a ton of internal machinery.
Comments are very much welcome!

I started it out with the bulkheads that would define the general shape, secured by a pair of long bolts that served as the major spine.
An expendable figure was used for scale. Once the metal cockpit tub would be in place, the pilot would have more secure seating.

Another view of the frame with the toy N1 beside it. Without the cockpit tub, the pilot's position seemed roomy. But it's actually pretty cramped, even in the TV episodes. The Mando had to actually squeeze himself out of the tiny cockpit.

I'm in the process of making the parts of the wings for the mini diorama. Lots of sanding and filling to do... As always, scratchbuilding may take time, but it's the sanding and smoothing that is the most tedious.

Where are the pit droids from? Those ball joints don't look like Hasbro's work. Still blown away by your work!
