I was referring to their City Hunter Matt.

. . . and ALL of PRIME1's Predators have been a miss so far - for one reason or another.

.
Ahh fair enough.

I do have a lovely Prime 1 1/4 City Hunter sitting right in front of me as I type this however. I know a couple of people had issues with it on here, but I really can't fault mine, it's pretty awesome tbh. Pose is always subjective, but I personally prefer it to Infinities. That and the better bio is why I went that route as much as I can appreciate what Infinity did with theirs. Prime 1's Fugative & Cracked tusk were pretty great and their other Big game (Not the JH Big game which was another miss) Seemed to come out pretty well.

Prime 1 are becoming a little scummy with their business practices, that's a huge shame and I'll not defend that, but it's still important to give credit where it's due. And they are capable of making some awesome statues when they really want to. They can also very much overshadow that hard work with politics.

Agreed - their history prior to getting into the Pred game was amazing - then they grew too fast (or became too greedy) for them to keep up the high standards they had set.

This is Sideshow all over again, and I'm sorry, but anyone that continues to take the risk of doing business with them has only themselves to blame if things don't turn out as expected. And if purchases of ill-though-out product, at exorbitant prices, continue to encourage PRIME1 to cut corners, do shoddy work & increase prices, then everyone misses out.

I'd love them to have produced Predator statues at the amazing quality level they had delivered for other franchises, but - well - anyone who has been watching should reallise how much of a "dice roll" it has now become - sometimes you'll come up with 7's (per your copy of their 1:4 CH), others are gonna feel like the game was rigged (why do I suddenly sound like I'm in Las Vegas?)

@FACEBOX I genuinely think that next thing in this Prime 1 old car salesman transformation is Predators releases as NFT's or QR codes with DIY YouTube tutorial priced as follows REGULAR Predator NFT/QR Code = 10.000$, DELUXE Predator NFT/QR Code = 15.000$ and ULTIMATE Predator NFT/QR Code = 65.384$ with waitlist integrated on the go!! Please note all 50 extras are actually invisible due to Predator cloaking!!
On a serious note. Where's this world headed?? I was contacted by a guy I purchased my summer sports car from all the way back in 2014 and I am actually able to sell it back for at least the same price I bought it nearly 8 years ago!! I guess outlandish pricing is now the new hottest thing. Time to start selling broken stuff on Ebay...

This is due to a lack of parts globally. I bought a van for work last summer. The dealership I bought it from had sold it for less money three years before buying it back again and selling it to me... So somebody had a relatively high end van for three years, put 30k miles on it and made money, Crazy.

Parts of me are falling off as I age. I wonder if the Wife would get her money back (plus a bit) if she put me on the market again?

I can see the listing now . . . "Ex prime one for sale - 1 careless owner . . . "

Indeed unbelievable times we live in. Which van you have a Ford Transit??

Just picked this up. Seemed slightly better value...

I went through the pictures for the Jungle hunter again last night, that thing is so damn impressive still!! I think that's the biggest issue with this city hunter, it simply doesn't compare in any way really and it's even more expensive! I'd love to see the sales figures for both, has anybody here actually ordered this one?

Yeah, transit connect limited LWB. I opted for the lower roof for loading stuff. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely van with absolutely every add-on. But the price was eye watering, I changed careers at the wrong time. Although I tend to mistime everything and end up paying more... :ROFLMAO:

That said I have an Focus ST-3 (MK.2 Facelift in electric orange) I've barely used it at all in two years (maybe 100 miles) Might be time to move that on as much as I love it.

@Python Transit is a great van I had the opportunity to drive it numerous times hauling friend's racing car ( Bmw E36 M3 fully stripped and roll cage installed ) and I was really impressed with it. I love that Ford Focus ST MK.2 of yours. Never really fully settled on its successor especially the Mk.3 RS. My oldest brother has the Mk.2 Focus RS in that wild ultimate green and I must say those 5 cylinders Volvo engine sounds divine!! It's price is skyrocketing so I'm guessing the same goes with the ST as well.

Nice car python. I have the transit ms rt, a mk1 focus rs with 24k miles and 377hp, a mk2 rs running 1036hp and a mk3 rs with 450hp. Think as well as statue collecting i have another obsession. 🤣

When P1 revealed the predators, I was expecting the same quality as the Independence Day bust. That thing is AMAZING! The paint and gloss/wetness is top notch. Sadly was not the case

This thread went off topic but actually became very interesting!! At least you know what you're paying for. Tnx for sharing @marsredv6!! A 1036HP Mk.2 RS for me please ;) Back to discussion of 5.500$ worth of decals...

Yeah, I'm enjoying the pix. Seems as though we're in some way cut from the same cloth.

I drag race too, so a $5500 statue definitely ties up funds that would otherwise be going toward my ride.
