Not even the deluxe 501st, only the vanilla version. They might be close to selling them through. 🤔

I thought it might be a quirk of the figure page with the way the Collector/Deluxe edition is set up.

Notable omissions for me were Tusken Raider and Coruscant Guard, which may both be closer to selling out than the rest. Death Watch Mando as well though that’s less surprising.

I was hoping for 10% off everything in-stock as a small incentive to grab a second Tank Commander.

definitely grabbing R2D2 even though I also have the Sideshow version. Love how weathered it is as I prefer him all grimy over being super clean.

Honestly cheaper than I thought for 3PO :lol but yeah no way I'm paying that much for this version of him.

Give me a shiny chrome gold diecast 3PO from ANH :ohbfrank:

Yeah it is a bit pricey for me as well, think I'll be holding off on him for now, he might be a Black Friday purchase or something down the line lol

Pricey but if final product is done well and actually communicated the wear and tear of C-3P0 it might be a decent figure. I personally prefer my 1/16 to have dirt and a lived in look. Classic ANH 3P0 is nice but I don’t think I would be that interested is just plane gold. Also I am purchasing less and less figures lately. My last HT was Qui Gonn. Even on the NECA and 3 ¾” SW vintage very few purchases. A HT one a year might be the way to go in my late 40’s!

The only reason they do diecast is to include this in the instructions

The specs should clarify things when it's listed.
Size of the pistons suggests elbows are articulated… otherwise what’s the point? Possible one set of switch out hands could be articulated and others fixed, but Tamashii’s are all fixed, At this price point you’d at least want moving elbows.

I still want classic C-3PO but I ordered this. Plan to display it with he Battle Droid head though.

For us UK collectors who buy from Hong Kong KG Hobby have the figures up for pre order, prices seem reasonable.

You getting this Lejuan? If 3PO's biggest fan isn't buying then HT is in trouble...

 HT is in trouble

Seriously tho I’ve wound down my collecting and it’d take something special to lay down $500 Australian. I‘m not convinced on this one… ANH 3PO is all I need on the shelf, shiny as it is (was it @Cocoboloboy who did the awesome grease-up weathering on the Tamashii?).

How far off do you think HT will leave it to announce ANH 3PO? I’d definitely be tempted.

I remember that custom weathered 3PO and I'm pretty sure it was a different member here but I can't remember his name off the top of my head. I do also remember that he sold it on eBay, who knows who has that masterpiece now.

I imagine the HT OT 3PO is now at least three years away as they will probably let this one ship out first.

They’re all reasonable except for Threepio. That’s a mentally high price for such a basic figure. Diecast is such a con. A minuscule amount in his feet would be the only way it could add value- beyond the delusion of it actually equating to a higher quality product- because that would at least aid with stability.
Then again, this price (before shipping) is actually less than I paid for the Sideshow Threepio from Collectibles Direct so that kind of helps me to swallow the cost…

I slapped a bunch of them in my basket at KGH to see how that impacted shipping.
Basically, it’s £31 for any single figure standard shipping and then standard and EMS cost the same so two figures is £67, three is £90, 4 is £117etc. so it’s essentially £30 per figure no matter how you do it with a minuscule benefit to packing them together.
You’d think the price would level out between 2-5kg but I guess they don’t actually know the exact weight of any of these yet.
Prices of actual HTs going up sucks but shipping is the main killer for me these days.

I’m getting Threepio, R2 and one Battle Droid for now so I can pose with the mismatched heads and maybe have R2 flying or dragging another of the three C-3PO heads I’ll have.

Might pick up a shiny Clone and another BD from TBA when they release.
