You have to pay 15% self-employment tax? Is that just CA or all of the US?
I've never heard of that and it sounds like crazy town!
Yeah any income over like $400 that’s not through an employer gets charged an extra 15%. It’s federal.

I have the tumbler. It gets everyone's attention!
However it's a beast and eats space, especially when it's housed in a case to shield it from dust.

There’s a lot of stuff to do and the weather is great.

I go at least twice a year, it is beautiful yes. I don't think anyone is debating how beautiful it is and how many fun things one can do.

The cost of living though is worrisome. It has always been high, but it is somewhat worse now.

Anyhow,

Any updates on this beast? Was it improved somehow?

Everyone everywhere else in the world is wondering why anyone would complain about such low income taxes. The taxation isn't the problem, it's where the money goes you need to be concerned about. No healthcare, politicians making millions (with full healthcare coverage).

The rear rims are painted black.

I have to keep repeating myself but, the rear tires are redesigned with accurate tread which is a big deal to me. The rear tires were the biggest issue I had with the previous version because they looked kind of toy like with the "W" shaped center tread.

Weird that they would update that but keep the shape of the wheels the same. They should be more rounded kind of like a donut.

The HT back wheels are very cylindrical, the edges of the wheels should be slightly more rounded.

You can see how "plump" the actual wheels are. HT's has always been very flat.

So this 100% released in Honk Kong? They've been hitting these Nolan rereleases way ahead of target.

True, but then the HT tires aren't inflated, so I'm guessing they'd tend to flatten out over time anyway unless they weren't actually supporting the vehicle's weight.

Forgot I had these:

No the tires really aren’t correct but at least the tread still looks better. HT should be able to design them as though they’re inflated and those tires on the real thing clearly have a treadwidth that’s much narrower than the sidewalls which would be the case inflated or not.

After watching justins collection review, I was wondering if anyone else thought one of the wheels on his looked crooked? I was wondering if it may have just been his camera.

There are probably 1000 things wrong with all versions of the Tumbler as Hot Toys has very little attention to detail and that's not changed in recent years. I haven't looked at the new version as closely as the 2nd, but on the previous two, the rear wheels aren't even the right size. Doesn't surprise me they got the tire sculpt completely wrong again.

But an interesting thing.. I still wouldn't sell my Tumbler if someone paid me $1 for each of those 1000 mistakes. :)

The only reason the wheels were brought up was because they decided to update not only the color of the rims but the tread sculpt too; but they didn't do the most crucial part.... the shape. They have to make a whole new mold for the wheels anyways, might as well update the entire thing.
