I haven't even read the blurb for this one, is that line genuinely in it? Prime 1 really are quite mad at times...

That was me joking about how much they charge for the BOX Steve - not postage

After-all, you have to remember how much care their assembly line takes in folding those boxes into shape. Then there's adding the polystyrene, and a polythene bag, and another outer box, then the tape. Skilled jobs for expensive materials

I might go for a bust. Would make a nice sister piece for the JH bust, which I'll probably keep for repainting even if the full statue turns out poorly.

Good Alien and Predator sculpts aren't as hard to come by as they once were, but a company going as far as to recreate the droopy eye? Eh, I'll entertain that.

They could have offered the cheapest version at the same price as the Sadshow 1:4 maquettes from 5-6 years back, and I STILL wouldn't have bought it.

It's a badly posed sculpt, developed by people who are NOT the fans of the franchise they claim to be, and sold by a greedy & deceptive company.

So I'll back up your statement . . . "Not gonna entertain them"

Unfortunately I have to agree. I thought it looked good, but after seeing the video above I'm just not a fan, especially for the money. There are much better poses they could have gone for this. It really seems like an odd choice.

In saying that, I was unlikely to get it anyway even if they nailed the pose, but I might consider a bust IF they nail production.

I'm also curious if anyone here is still going ahead with ordering this.

Wow I'm late for the party. @Rotfish this is surely one expensive curious looking toddler. Damn Prime 1 prices are rising faster than inflation. That uber super duper extra deluxe creme de la creme version will surely have upper crust quality decals. Add 2000$ for the bust and 5000$ for shipping and import duties and then you will finally take it out and he will have crossed eyes and psoriasis. What's happening with this world...

I saw some people post on FB that they were going to order it. Pretty insane if you ask me, but it's their money, not mine. They will take a total bath in this if they ever decide to or need to sell it in the future.

There is literally no reason to order one yet even if you want one. It makes sense to wait and see how they JH turns out. And if they are willing to improve this further as they did with the JH.

Obviously the Ultimate version is just ludicrous and makes no sense, but it they do tweak the pose, maybe change out that Ram bio to a nicer looking one and fine tune a few things, I'll likely grab this (DX) and call it a day happy with my 1/3 JH, CH and Big chap. If they don't alter this, oh well, lots of money saved.

Just a little note also. For all of their talk in that video about crafting the bio as closely as possible due to it being such an important aspect. The bio on this is 100% the bio from their 1/4 version blown up. I'll try to get some images together to demonstrate this, but I have the 1/4 mask in my hand as I type this and I'm looking at the close up pics from the 1/3. Now the mask on the 1/4 was fairly nice, but there is definitely room for improvement. until that arrives, this 1/3 version shares the same cheek issues, no forehead grooves and none accurate damage areas. I get reusing stuff makes sense, but they're pricing this thing as the ultimate statue and you'd have hoped they would put in the effort to match.

I will order the Deluxe Bonus version. No way Im paying 2100 extra for 5 skulls that cost P1 pennies to manufacture. Also looks like there wont be any new 1:3 Predators? Or am I reading it wrong? Here a pic from Facebook. Official statement from Prime1.

Was my question I asked during a recent Q&A. Not sue if that means Predators, but the fact that at the very least we aren't seeing a Dutch is devastating..
