So... I’m guessing there’s no way to get this now. :lol
Technically no. But there's still options. Ebay is pretty pricey for a less than stellar figure but some aren't terrible, I think I saw one for $202. But do your due diligence and check the seller ratings to make sure they're legit. Other retailers will probably have a few extras that'll go up here and there. You can try reaching out to some of them preemptively and ask.

This figure is not worth the $230 that its going for on ebay. If you really want it as a first indy figure, just try to be patient and wait to pick it up at normal retail price. Easier said than done, I get it but don't over pay for the figure. Not worth it!

At $155 shipped from Kit the figure is a steal but I wouldn’t fault anybody for paying $200 to $220 on eBay if they really wanted an Indy in their collection.

What other options would you have? You can either pay about $200 for this:

About $400 for this:

or $220 for this:

Does anyone have any painted example photos of the original Inigo sculpt they could please post?

I keep looking at this head and can't put my finger on what's out with the Ford likeness.. It's got to only be small cause some angles look pretty true. Really not sure if it's paint or the aforementioned distortion from the recasting or a combination.
Here are my Inigo V1, V2, V3 & Smiling sculpts, all painted by Mark Simpson in the UK:

That’s exactly where I’m at. I ended up picking one up off of eBay for a little over $200. To me it’s totally worth it, even if patience could have saved me some money. I ordered some boots to replace the ones that come on the figure and I MAY replace the pants down the road but as is, this is as good a representation of Indiana Jones I need in my collection.
Other than this I have the option of paying $250 for a painted sculpt (which might not even be a thing anymore), about $400 for a clothing set, and another couple hundred for accessories. Instead, I payed ~$200 for the figure, $20 for some boots I have to paint up and I’m under $250 for the whole thing. Couldn’t be happier!

all this fuss over a kinda mediocre figure? The sculpt suffers from the uncanny Ford Valley syndrome.
I agree. I'd suggest getting on the third run for the original sculpt this is recasted from. Inigos V3. There's an interest on the onesixthcustom forum. Of course it'll cost more, but imo, Indy is worth it.

Thanks very much for sharing the photos of the original sculpts! Given me great hope for this, even the smiling one, which I'd written off.

Glad I've been working on a Clint Eastwood paint job inbetween this and the Deckard I recently completed. That could've been very harsh having that much Ford in a row..

Went ahead and paid this guy off at NeoGeek to make sure I get one since they have the first come first served type policy even if you put in a PO. Don't want to get sniped by other ppl paying before me :lol

I’d just like a base to start a decent Indy from. I’ve got an unpainted smiling Inigo Indy head I’d love to get a body for, and a fully stock DX05. This seemed like a good enough way to get the job done, without spending thousands. Not judging those who do, but I personally can’t justify it for my own collection.

Hmm. If a 2nd run happens, might try and pick this up. I have the DX05, so I plan on swapping the neutral face for the Indy with jacket and idol and use the smiling head with the Cairo shirt “poster” pose.

Yep that’s what I did. And wow. Looking at FB and I absolutely can’t believe how many people are upset about missing a cheap $150 figure that will probably get a second run.

“Seeing as how no link was posted, i think the orders put in that got them should be refunded and a new date picked to post a link. That would be fair.”

Oh 1/6 collectors really are the worst 😂
You "can't believe" how many people are upset? Then use your imagination, lol.

It's not suprising people were upset at all...and it's not that complicated either. Are there people that overreacted? Yeah, probably. To leave a seller permanently over this is way overboard, but to each their own. It's their decision to make imo.

However, to minimize how they feel just because you don't give a flying "f" is a bit arrogant. I totally see where they're coming from even if I don't care about this figure. They felt misled and I can see why...but Kit rectified the problem to the best of his ability. Let's all move on.

With that said, I would highly suggest people wait for the second offering when they announce it. Learn from this and preorder this when it goes up next time. Also, Kit is one of the best sellers in the entire business. If you're worried about his honesty, don't. He's a straight shooter and we're lucky to have him in the midst of all the bad sellers like TW.

If 1/6 collectors really are "the worst" then let's not add to the problem by pretending we don't get why people are upset. A little empathy goes a long way.

Realistically, since there were only 14 figures available, putting a link on Facebook wouldn't have helped anyway. You had to be actually on the page where it was going to logically appear the moment the listing went live (i.e., with the search term "Present").

I was, and still missed out even though I received an order confirmation.

People complaining that there wasn't a Facebook link are just excusing their lack of common sense by blaming Kit instead.

Nevertheless, Kit was good enough to give $10 in rewards to those whose orders couldn't be fulfilled. I used them on Master Team's Lara, which is a figure I'm much more looking forward to than Present's Indy. :)
