1/6 Hot Toys - TMS074 - Hawkeye - Kate Bishop Collectible Figure

I have mixed feelings. I was really hoping for a HT Kate Bishop. I’m happy with a stylized version of the characters and think this one looks great (other than that odd widow’s peak).

What I had hoped for, though, was a replaceable face front. One that was non- battle damaged/bandaged, and one that was. That opens up so many more options for display.

Also, I’m really surprised Lucky the Pizza Dog wasn’t included.

$270. What I was expecting, as that seems to be the starting price now for their barebones figures with a head sculpt (see Koska Reeves, Gilgamesh, Thena, Fennec Shand, Yelena, Sylvie, etc.).

$270 on Sideshow. Isn't releasing until late 2023, which is realistically 2024 at that point.

The 1/6th scale Kate Bishop Collectible Figure specially features:
- A newly developed head sculpt with authentic and detailed likeness of Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop in Hawkeye
- Highly-accurate facial features with make-up, detailed skin texture, and bandage at chin
- Dark brown hair sculpture with moveable ponytail
- Approximately 28 cm tall
- Body with over 28 points of articulations
- Eight (8) pieces of interchangeable gloved hands including:
- One (1) pair of fists
- One (1) pair of open hands
- One (1) pair of bow holding hands
- One (1) pair of arrow holding hands
- Each piece of head sculpt is specially hand-painted

Costume:
- One (1) purple colored long sleeves top
- One (1) pair of black colored pants with pocket
- One (1) pair of black colored boots
- One (1) black colored utility belt on waist

Yeah as usual HT got the eyes a bit wrong, also the eyebrows and dead stare, and like everyone says the hair is off. And man, HT really needs to update their bodies or at least make a couple new types of body, this looks almost as wrong as their Yelena's body.

By the time this figure comes out, I would be really surprised if Kate has not made a second appearance already…probably just like Yelena did, and rendered her first figure a bit obsolete…

They should've made a base with a giant Pym-tech arrow

Was driving me nuts so I broke out the Photoshop. My mod isn't perfect but I see way more Hailee in it. Tweaks included:

- Eliminating the widow's peak hairline
- making the eyes 10% larger and 15% taller
- filling in her eyebrows
- making the cheeks more round
- giving some depth to her moles
- making her eyes more hazel

Like I said it's still not quite there but if it actually looked like this I'd be putting in a pre-order.

You forgot the most important feature though?

• Added stupid tongue that destroys any desire for the figure.

This certainly isn't the home run I was hoping for with this figure, but I still think it captures her a lot better than most here seem to, and I love the character far too much not to want it in the collection, so it'll be a definite purchase for me.

I'm glad I'm not as particular about head sculpts as most on here. I think this will be a great representation of the character on the shelf. The head ends up being a little over an inch tall in person and while I agree it's off in these super zoomed in photos, in person it'll be really good, IMO.

This takes a good sculpt and makes it much better. I do see Hailee but your tweets make her look so much more accurate.

It's nice to see Kate, but that base figure pricing sure is creeping up on OG Hulk's MSRP

Would have been a pass regardless for me but not seeing her in the sculpt.

yeah, where’s the dog accessory (not even an EX)?

I believe the Hot Toys cosbaby of Kate even comes with Lucky.

maybe Clint/Hawkeye will include Lucky?

$270. No thanks, maybe for a bargain.

Godspeed to those willing to plop down $270 for this. Price is absurd to me for what you get.

Yeah, three years ago this would have been a $225 figure and you’d get a $25 code from Sideshow to make it $200. Now it’s $270, the codes are for $20 and they don’t work on anything.
