Designed and 3D printed the greeblies for my Lathe chest piece.

For Max Rebo's piano I still need to find a mirror sticker for the horn, update the size on the pillow, and weather the piano. It's missing some keys in the pics but complete piano will have all 21 keys. I'm trying to set it up so it's easy to cast and reproduce, but I'll be making no more major changes to the piano.
For Max I still have to update and sculpt some more before I feel comfortable tackling the pieces for articulation and casting.

Get that damn thing in a box with my address printed on it.:impatient: :lol

Nikto/Lathe's looking great. I'm still trying to figure out what to use for the light blue tunic (I have some dye that's the right color.)

Thanks guys! Hopefully next I can tackle finishing my Rebo sculpt and trying to figure out articulation for him.

Looking forward to seeing the finished Max - it already looks better than the vast majority of Max sculpts in any scale.

Also, will Ephant Mon see light of day before the end of this year? That's another one that would be awesome.

Thank you!! This is a labor of love but man it’s time consuming haha.
Ephant Mon is why I’m trying to do my best to finish Max ASAP! He’s the next big project I have to finish, I’ve always wanted a 1/6 version of him.
I already have my E Mon planned out, just gotta actually execute after Max is complete.
Also minor Max update pics attached.

Love it. Like with Amanaman, you have a great eye for creature skin detail. Best I've seen, better than Sideshow or other companies.

Wow! I love the detail here! I'm very eager to see him finished.

Wow, thank you for the super high praise! I wouldn’t consider myself better than the companies but I appreciate the compliment!
I needed to make some Nikto hands to finish some figures so I 3D sculpted and printed them. Turned out pretty well. Terrible picture, they look better in person.

Those look awesome! Would be great to get an open (I think its right) hand to add to your Squidhead hands too. Currently the right hand is a tight pistol grip and I've had on my list to sculpt an open version based on your existing left hand.

And what I mean is that Sideshow sculpts alien skin and it looks decent, but not exactly like "real" skin - Hammy is actually pretty good, Greedo and Gammy are okay but Bossk's arms and legs are pretty unconvincing. You have the ability to make alien skin appear to "flow," have volume and fold/ripple very realistically, pretty much as well as the ILM creature shop guys did.

Yeah dude whenever I clear up some of my present projects I might revisit Tessek’s hands and try to see how digitally sculpting them would go. By open hand you mean with both fingers relaxed and extended, like the one I did with the pointed finger except both fingers right?
Ah ok I got it thank you! Still a high compliment.🤗
