I know the delay is not the fault or the responsibility of vendors.

At the same time, I don't believe, rely upon, or trust any announced release date/time frame.

I'll believe it when it's in hand, in stock, ready for/started shipping by vendors and not some bull crap false tracking info certain vendors like KGH, TNS, and TW utilize to deceive customers based on posts by other collectors.

I’ve never seen Kghobby do that. They are the complete opposite. I ask them when it is coming and they say soon and then silence and then suddenly it shows up.

Isn't China in lockdown again? The delay is understandable. I think without the Covid pandemic, this fig would of been released ages ago.

From what I heard and read, the lock down is occurring at select locations that changes based on infection numbers in the mainland and in Hong Kong.

The common denominator for the lock down from what I can tell is occurring at business/industrial hubs/locations.

Shanghai is in complete lockdown and that has the biggest port (I think). As they media says “everything will be affected”.

Yea, even one of my transformer retailers has their warehouse in one of the big lockdown areas in China, so none of my figures are getting shipped even though they're released and paid for.

Well, he is an Admin for the OSK facebook group so he's going to want to drive traffic to OSK as much as possible. OSK is definitely a reputable retailer though and he's not wrong about other retailers having some sketchy tactics here and there, with some ppl getting fake tracking numbers. BUT there's also a bunch of ppl who haven't had issues with the called out other retailers eithers. I myself haven't had any trouble with KGH or TNS, but then again I also don't order from them often either.

Nope.

I do it out of actual/real free choice/free will with zero compensation just like how many always overzealously defend/explain/justify/rationalize bad/poor/questionable choices involving certain other vendors and brands within this very group.

I never posted I'm admin there or hidden it like how there are many fake/shill accounts for those driving traffic to certain vendors and also defending certain vendors whenever others post about bad experiences.

I don't see a conflict of interest in the same manner of a number of CF members claiming not be in conflict of interest as admins of other groups and/or acting as compensated proxies for whatever brands/forums/groups.

I thought everyone knew I'm a member/admin there? It's not like I'm using a 100% made up name to hide my identity unlike the majority of members here with fake/shill and real accounts.

I have zero influence on the traffic to OSK. The traffic to OSK is due to the satisfied customers and word of mouth based on proven and reliable service by its owner.
