Not much really. Paintup and the new head are petty much the only hold up. Once complete, pre-sale

First understand Environmental safe materials mean once the material degrades, it will degrad to its minimal size. No guarantee when this will happen.

Although I have an idea of an industrial material that highly possible can be used in most seamless application, I cant do it. Trek can never support its RnD.

Compromise way can be used but that will sky rocket the cost and don't think demand can support a competitive pricing. Unless of course, my assumptions and marketing works out the quantity needed before she must go into production. I have decided to integrate the Queen into our Borg Alcove concepts. Mentioned this to someone at Chicago, the alcove is modulated, can be an individual unit and also daisy chained with multiple units with one power source. I am actually creating a tile for my future home like a Borg.

Imagine a wall of connected Aloves covered part or the entire wall, and the queen and its base can replace (connect) one of the Alcoves. Right at the center of the wall at eye level will be ideal. Go further, connect the power source to a smart home power plug and control them or one or any configuration (through planned USB connection control a specific sets of Alcoce circuits.

"Start Regeneration Cycle!" The entire war of Alcoves light up!

An imagination that I think most of had in our shower time.

Back to the subject, Borg Queen statue concept has not changed only its function has changed. She needs to be assimilated into the Alcoves.

That's my way to enjoy this Queen with the Alcoves. The benefit if the creator.

The "consumer" level is to be able to connect an Alcove to its sides, so Locutus and Seven can regenerate with her.

Nanjin’s description of a wall of Borg alcoves is exactly what I pictured! Can’t wait to wreck a credit card or two ordering multiple alcoves and two Borg Queens for FC and VOY displays!

Although I’ll need enough alcoves for some 1/6 Borg Drones too, right Nanjin? ;-)

Appreciate your explanation and I suspected it would be for those reasons to go down the statue route.

Not to sound flippant here because I am very grateful for your passion and general efforts toward 1/6 Trek, but I don’t really care if she’s articulated or not because none of us play with these things do we - just the initial mess around and then on display with the odd change of position once in a while.

I’m just very happy to finally get a well crafted 1/6 representation of the Borg Queen in the collection to stare at, so thank you Nanjin👌🏻

Don't rush it, take your time to make it how you want to before it is put up for pre-order. There is an obsession with "must have it now" for some reason. Personally I'd rather wait for the figure to be ready and to the satisfaction of yourself before we get it, same for any figure. Looking forward to when the pre-order does go up.
