Prime 1 - Ripley (Aliens)

I feel like simply adjusting the eye color makes a difference.

Hard to see on a portrait shot. Kind of burnt sienna maybe?

Regarding the eye color, I think the issue is we shouldn't be seeing such a clear separation of pupil, iris, and the dark ring at the edge of the iris (forgot what it's called). Whether you go as dark as V8Falcon's edit or as light as Space Jockey's photo, the contrast between the features themselves needs to be brought down.

This is getting really nitpicky though, much easier to adjust sculpt than these kinds of things.

Any news on Sideshow stocking this? Please say yes!
I did ask Prime but no reply yet.

Likeness is off, but it’s still overall a nice piece. I’ll stick with my Hot Toy.

Just some retouch i made in eyes, nose, lips, jaw and cheeks. This sculpt has potential as long as it gets fixed.

Looking at your gradient from the sculpt to the photo, it's amazing to me how on one hand how close they are in likeness, yet on the other hand how far apart they are and how the sculpt looks like she would be Ripley's sister or close cousin.

I think the issue is that the sculpt looks like Ripley at 20 years old or something. She looks younger than she was in the film.
The leaner face on the right makes her look more mature which helps.

Nice adjustments.

seems like it may take several weeks for some Prime 1 statues to appear on SSC.

if recall correctly, that’s what happened with the Prime 1/Blitzway Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter)

SSC had both the regular and bonus versions when it was made available through them but it took a while.

This fix makes her look almost perfect... Well done

I want her, badly. But I’ll wait a bit because I’d rather get her through Sideshow. If not, then Prime 1.

Also think I'll hold out for Sideshow carrying this. Might be worth the little extra wait for their customer service on a piece like this.

Prime 1 got back to me regarding Sideshow.
Prime said they have offered it to Sideshow but had no news as to when and if they decide to offer it for sale.

Spoke with Sideshow, they could not offer any news at this point but suggested to email the product suggestion.
