From what I am hearing from Kit. It sounds like TW is operating under poor business management. It's like a contractor building a house and realizing they ran out of money building a roof for house #1 so they took money from the house #2 budget to cover the house #1 roofing budget. And then they said they would recoup that initial loss with the money they make in profit on house #2. Problem is, this only flies once or twice in a nightmare scenario. If this behavior repeats then you dig deeper and deeper until you can't get out and can't pull the capital from another job to cover the initial one and someone's left holding the bag. And with how big they are, this could be a massive bag.

I have absolutely no basis for this statement but it gives me that feeling.

Is it possible that TW has inventory coming and there's some weird shipping hold up? Maybe. But it's feeling really sketchy and unlikely the more they drag their feet.

From everything Kit has said, TW never purchased any units of Cloud directly from GameToys. GameToys wanted a deposit and TW refused to pay it, and so no orders were placed. It's possible some people did receive their orders, but they would have been after market sales, buying from local vendors who did place an order with GT, and then reselling it overseas, which TW is known to do for Hot Toys. Once the prices at local vendors got too high (which they quickly did, as this figure proved to be really popular), that become untenable and now people have gone months and months getting emails claiming the manufacturer delayed the product, which we well know to be a lie considering all the other stores already received their allotment.

I'd be willing to chalk this whole thing up to a one time fluke, but now we also have Queen Studios, an officially licensed brand that is allowed to operate out in the open, directly warning buyers not to purchase from stores that price their figures lower than the competition because they may not receive their figures, as a response to local consumers flooding their social media with messages about TW. Reading between the lines, it sounds to me like TW has refused to pay the deposit for the Queen Joker, too, so Queen can't guarantee that TW will get their stock.

At this point, it's a difficult position to be in considering pre-orders for Zack (and AC Cloud) have closed everywhere else, but it is very much a gamble to send any more money to TW at this point in time. Even if the store recovers and they fulfill Zack, I still wouldn't trust them with any future orders, because Cloud and seemingly Joker have set a precedent that they could do this again at any time.

For Gametoys Cloud+daytona - Gametoys don't have available stocks, they shipped all orders in January, there's no plan for re-issue right now. The said store didn't order from them directly, they cannot tell if the said store order it through other place/distributor/stores and if anyone willing to hold their stocks for 3 months

I wouldnt be surprised if they sold somewhere else the units with the current rates and just postpone the delivery until ppl cancel their order willingly due to the delays.
