You mean because the role was so small? It’s a good point. It seems more like a response to the third party release. They do this yet where is Hawkeye? Where is Kate Bishop? Where is Tobey and Andrew?

Pretty good I must say. Neutral sculpt is the better of the two but the smiling sculpt also has a decent likeness. Loki line is indeed good.
Just has me thinking now…if the Endgame Loki’s sculpt isn’t updated before release (maybe why the insane delay?) for those that want that version to go with all of the Loki series figures it’s going to look very meh sculpt wise next to the sculpts in this line.

Skin texture on this prototype is definitely better than Soosoo but somehow I like Soosoo's smiling sculpt better. Theirs look to have a more devious determined smile suited for that glorious purpose and Hot Toys' looks like a tamed mischievous grin.

Gotta love when HT puts some effort into something. The soosoo one looked great but HT crushed it. Great likeness on this one. Hoping QS keeps making HT work to keep their crown too. After the Peacemaker fiasco it’s been great to see HT try harder.

Hot Toys gave him some dead eyes on the smiling sculpt.

i think they both have pros and cons. The Soosoo one has more realistic skin tone and teeth but the HT I feel has a better overall likeness to Richard E Grant. His skin looks too tanned maybe?

That smiling sculpt is looking awkward and as usual the problem is the way they did the eyes/eyebrows. Hot Toys has a weird obsession with not letting the eyes match the extreme expression they're going with.

Why would you sculpt the eye expression to be so flat and not furrowed/angled? SooSoo did it right where they sculpted his eyebrows to be pointed downwards like >:

Wow, they actually followed through. The gold helmet looks nice, but SooSoo takes this one in my opinion.

I love the smiling sculpt... but this is the picture that cracked me up...

Glad they actually revealed this one. Sculpts look pretty good especially the straight face one. No interest in it but a great looking figure overall

Sculpts are about 90% there. Standard HT.
