Received my first HT 1/6 scale figure the other day and am probably hooked pretty deep. I had just finished up making a base to display some 6” Hansbro BS so I thought I would give the HT a pose on it and give it a whirl. I think it would work fairly well for either size.
What do you think?
First pic is of a BS and second of a HT. I posted it on another forum and had some great suggestions to add a bit more natural details which I will do, but this is just for figure size testing at the moment.View attachment 555685View attachment 555686
Looks great. Is that XPS hard foam insulation ?

I decided to keep only ESB and sell the other 2, but I wanted to document my OT "hall of armor" Fetts for posterity.

Awesome display! Can we see a close up of the Jawa display and the Tantive IV display?
The Jawa shelf is sadly not a display inasmuch as a holding pen. A project that I started on and stopped halfway. Here’s a shot that has some of them in it, as well as old Barbie sets that I painted up. Tantive shot in here too!

Those are awesome. You should make some to sell. A bunch of lunatics on here would buy them.
Thanks. I wish I could produce more of these. Its easier said than done though. Its difficult sourcing sculpts, parts and finding time to finish them. Most of these have taken years for me to complete, upgrade etc.

Looks awesome, that Skiff Guard on the front has a fabulous hair :D
Haha. Yes he does. Thanks!

Yeah I think it's pure genius using your boxes as part of your display shelves! I can't bring myself to get rid of the boxes either. I'm just lucky I have a storage shed next to my home so I'm able to put my boxes in totes and store them. Now, if only my wife would give me more space inside the house to have a bigger collection! :rotfl

Just come home to get a surprised with Stormtrooper Commander (Came 3 days early then expected date)
Shame Sideshow only process one of my order when I put in ordered for two of them.

Hahahaha.
Yeah!!!
I used black cloth to cover the boxes that take up the space either side of the display cabinet.
Can't bring myself to be rid of the boxes, they are too awesome!

The boxes are nice so that's definitely a motivation to keep them despite taking up so much room.

But I also feel that while a lot of us purchase these with the intention of keeping the figures for good, it's still difficult to get rid of the boxes knowing doing so will wipe out a good chunk of their value.
