Where'd you get the magnets? I can't find any anwyhere lol, must not be looking in the right places.

For my Amana wrist joints I used a couple of those magnets that came in the old Sideshow box flaps.

I will say - I spent a huge amount of effort doing articulation on my Amana (I wanted him to be able to perfectly match the Kenner "open arms" pose and the onscreen "arm across the chest" palace pose) but I have yet to change it. I think I just love the Kenner pose so much.

Love what you did with those fingers Paul. :clap

Thanks man.
Yours came out great. I’ll have to admit I referred to your finished pics countless times. Trying to resculpt and nail the features on the skulls and completing the carcass is something I still need to do and yes, love that Kenner pose! What I’m also going for :D

I spent a lot of time squinting at enhanced frame grabs to figure out what the **** those fingers/hands looked like, so hopefully I save you a few hours and some eyesight deterioration. :lol They are very wonky looking fingers and the film crew looks like they gave up and just wired them to the staff.

Because the left hand is in such a different position I actually embedded magnets in two places and covered them up, so you pull the hand off, reorient it, and snap it back on for the palace pose. I just didn't think a ball joint, plastic or magnet, could achieve both wrist poses - interested to see what you come up with. I used three types of joints - hidden swivel, and embedded plastic ball joint, plus the magnets on the wrists.

And yeah the skulls are pretty hard to see too. I can post some close-ups of mine if you need. I think I mentioned that it seems they used the hero skull for the Raiders Ark Ghost for one of the Amana trophy skulls (there's some decent ref pics for that skull, so it was a handy discovery.) Inside joke I assume.
No. Unfortunately I missed out on picking up the Amanaman kit.
Hopefully he'll reissue the kit. I would love to see what the grand master would do with it, and also to see it alongside your Jabba line-up!

I have a few refs for the hands and did some major squinting as well hehe. The knotted fingers were a chore to decipher but going back and forth over several days of refreshing the eyes I think I got it pretty close except his left hand fingers being a bit too thin (at a certain angle) - oh well, works for me I suppose.

As for the “articulation” the wrist magnetics have full 360 degree rotation although not really needed and have about 1/4” swivel which will work for the corpse holding hand.

I picked up a 1/6’ish skeleton kit after several failed (oversized) purchases. Probably wasted about $30-$40 but now have some cheesy Halloween decos :lol
I just need to add/sculpt the remains... along with skulls.

I’ve heard of the Raider’s Skull being used... very cool. Trying to capture that look is something I want to attempt as well.

Haha, yeah I dd the same with the various "slightly-off" scales for the skeletons. And yeah the sausage fingers are super funky - sort of pointy at the ends, but from other angles rounded. They seem to have been latex they stretched and twisted as needed so they are really uneven and kinda nonsensical. :lol

Heres a close up of my skulls. Hard to get them all visible in in one pic. The one on the left is more of a mummified head than skull, and all of them have some skin on them, ie not just bone skull. The one on the right and the big alien one have a cluster of hair with string wrap around it at the top that they hang from, the mummfied head has a hook through the cheek.

I may have a clear WIP pic of my staff that shows where the hook goes and also overall what it looks like. The staff was a lot more complex than it first appeared to be.

And the skeleton is also a little tricky to figure out the shapes and pose it's in, ie what it fully looks like. This was my best guess as to what it looks like. I found the Hasbro skeleton (from 2000 3 3/4" fig) wasn't quite correct vs the ref pics. Below is a WIP pic just before I did the final paint.

It's more of a mummified body versus just a skeleton. It also seems to have shrivelled up organs inside the ribs. My assumption is that this is also a prop from raiders of the Lost Ark. What I did was added bits of two part filler around the bones in places to form the skin/flesh/organs. The area inside the rib cage and especially the neck have most dried up flesh/skin.

I made it split in the middle (end of spine is the joiner) so it can slip into Amana's hand. IN the Kenner pic they wrapped the fingers around the skeleton to "hold" it.

I’ve screenshot those images when you first posted but the carcass shot is something I could definitely use. Thanks brutha :duff
I was also planning on making it separate to piece together in his hand :)
That table you built is also a great dio addition! :D

You going to add some darker dreadlock hanging wraps for Boba's teacher warrior Tusken ?

Wouldn't be surprised if HT would make him though.
She’s a very cool design but Im going for one of the others.
I agree. When HT makes a Tusken it’ll most likely be the Warrior. Then maybe the Chief, or the Youngling w/Massiff.
