Not sure how they can signal out one person when there are multiple comments about not getting an invoice?
Wasn’t saying I felt singled out- more that seeing as I was getting nowhere with my enguiries, it would be unlikely for others to have success- so kind of the opposite of being singled out. We would all be equally **** out of luck.

No I meant they were signaling out the one person telling them to PM them when there are multiples of us who have not received invoices.

Well now we know what to do; email Asmus begging to be charged for the figure we ordered months ago along with all the other people here who have already received their copies, reviewed them, displayed them and moved on to wanting the next offering.
 
I never received an invoice either, so I sent an email to Asmus just now. I could not retrieve my order number though because I’m not at home to look that far back in my email, AND when I went to log in to Asmus’ site to look up the order, the site said I don’t have an account and need to register. Wth? Did the site get reset again recently?
 
Ok…. So I FINALLY got a response about my Legolas. Told its a preorder item. So why do people have him already? Then was told I should upgrade my shipping to fed ex which will be an extra 61$ charge. But they’ll split it with me and if that’s ok they’ll update my credit information. Why does this all sound incredibly sketch?? Asmus I have been a faithful supporter but what’s going on lately?? Loosing my faith and trust and pretty soon my business

Hi mate, as I know there was a first round which our financial dep sent the balance invoices one by one before. Sorry for that there were some customers reflected as same as you said they didn't receive the balance notices (someone missed it in the his spam mail or someone used the different mailbox to receive payment). And we are still tracking with them by now.
And the shipping condition is changed already after this August, so please understand we may choose the suitable courier to send parcels to your country.

Got a response on my lack of invoice. I don't understand. Except for the very beginning I don't even remember shipping being suspended? I mean I've gotten HD Aragorn and Galadriel with no problem. I mean I guess it was kind of responded to above but that seems like a non answer. So those of you who did get your HD Legolas, you didn't have to pay the extra $61?

The global shipping prices today are OUTRAGEOUS so no one can blame Asmus for not having a free shipping option.

What I find great is that Asmus is willing to split the cost of shipping. Most of the other companies would charge you a full shipping price (maybe even more) and don't even ask you. I currently have 3 figures from Asmus on the way to Europe, via FEDEX, for only 49 USD in total, that is just an awesome price and I think that anyone who complains about that just does not live in the real world.

I think a lot of people aren’t talking into account that the Legolas deluxe has that massive base, and while I don’t have it, I’m sure it weighs a ton. The deluxe Arwen had some weight and that was $25 or so to ship if I remember correctly.

Like Walden said, shipping prices are out of control globally - between rising fuel costs, labor shortages, shipping backlog, etc. I just sent two hockey pucks (small and weighed just over a pound) to Canada and that cost me $29. Just for perspective.

I think it’s very generous of Asmus to split the shipping cost with its customers. I’m sure that DX will be more than $31 from Sideshow and probably slower shipping as well. So, I think the complaints here are both unfair and unwarranted.
 
Just got mine today to UK only 10 days after paying invoice inc. $25 delivery, and it is no small box and definitely got some weight to it (5.2kg to be exact!).

Hats off to Amsus for their flexibility and turnaround time as shipping worldwide right now is a nightmare, but this is fantastic service!

Nice! Enjoy the figure, hope you love it :) I got the normal version of Legolas personally, but the diorama base is very nice.

FedEx is pricy but my Arwen and Galadriel dlxs were sent in a combined box and arrived really fast and somehow avoided customs charges (I’m in the U.K.) so; it’s not ideal- of course we all want things to be as cheap as possible- but that’s just not possible currently and this method works well and Asmus are absorbing some of the cost to ensure we get a quality service.
They’re making the best of a bad situation.

I was wondering if I got lucky with several orders arriving from Asmus over the last few weeks, all avoiding customs charges. Like you I`m in the UK also. Can`t say I even noticed an item value on any of the forms. Anyway I`m certainly not complaining, and I think FedEx shipping charges are very fair all things considered and backed up with a super quick delivery time.
 
Just got him out to take a peek, and I got to say, I’m nerding out! Will take pictures once posed etc. but my worry with the slight change to sculpt from the release pictures have long gone. For this to be my first Asmus, I’m super happy!
