Looks like Mondo is going to give their shot at a 1:6 MacReady!

I'm kind of shocked at this, but am really interested. The fact that they're showing Thing accessories is great. I can't imagine they'll have multiple releases. I'd rather a soft goods take, I guess we'll see what Mondo gives us.

Really hope it's good. Didn't expect them to get the license, was hoping Asmus take a crack at it but I'll hold my thoughts until I see a full proto hopefully it has material clothing and not just all soft plastic.

Good news but Mondo suck for regular updates and this will still be in development this time next year.

They're a little too laid back.

Interesting news but if this is all plastic I'll just stick with Neca, was really hoping Iconiq could snag this license.

I just saw some of their earlier 1/6 scale figures, and honestly they did not impress me. I have no idea what justify such prices (i.e. ~200 USD).

Not to mention they are a small (in comparison) American company getting product manufactured in China at numbers much lower than Sideshow or Hot Toys.

They mention in the video MacReady's clothing will be cloth. I'm stoked on this.

I remember PCS getting the license alongside An American Werewolf In London, but then dropping the project after previewing it for a couple years. Bummed me out.

Word was that PCS never even had the license

How you gonna show a prototype to a license you don't have? No wonder Sideshow absorbed them. The Alice Cooper, Sons of Anarchy, Street Fighter, and American Werewolf 1/6 lines never came to fruition either I believe.
