There is a mob/group think thing going on with this figure. I am happy with my figure. Can Hot Toys do better? Yes, but it’s not the over exaggerated fail that the internet mob keep harping about.
I have the Tamashii C3PO and it was always too clean. This is the definitive C3PO with a little weathering. Will post comparison pics when this one starts shipping.
I think the point made which I think you are also now saying, is it isn’t black and white that you can convert “a height” to 1/6. I believe your first post was saying that Hot Toys should. In a perfect world, you could just apply math, but Hollywood takes artistic license to portray a character...

I am with Sandcrawler. The figure looks great. It’s a big improvement from v1 and any non licensed version that has come out before. It has flaws, but they all do. And no, not justifying my spend since I would only be out the NRD if I cancelled.
Do you mind taking a picture of the pin that you pushed out to turn the canons around? Is it those tiny ones the canon swivels on? I used a needle and the pin won’t move. Thanks
For those that have the figure, how does the strap on his thigh connect? Is there a magnet that I am missing? It seems like two pieces of strap with no magnets or velcro. Thanks
