Good point regarding non uniformity of the uniforms. Sometimes my OCD takes over 😄
Thanks for sharing the research on the raid itself. It makes for great reading!
The photos also highlight the assortment of ammo pouches, helmets, camo and everything else
As mentioned before, there’s quite a difference between the colour of the Did and Ujindou uniforms. I have been airbrushing the Ujindou uniforms to weather them and give the appearance of fading.
Here’s my Jager head sculpt on a grenadier. I’ve changed the jacket, head and boots on the tank commander. I just need his collar tabs to finish. I wanted to buy the Brown Arts tanker boots but ended up cutting down an old pair of jack boots.
That’s good to know. You would think that with just a little more research and by taking note of the comments on the various forums they would get the best possible results with their figures.
Thanks man that helps. Maybe Did should select a couple of customers to review their figures at the prototype stage. Collectors are going to be fairly picky
Wow, that is a wealth of information. Thank you. I will keep this in mind and will swap out some of the kit to align with the SS uniform. You just saved me a lot of hour’s of research 😊
I got the Jäger figure. I immediately swapped the head sculpt and used the scarred head sculpt on one of my grenadiers. Personal preference. I need some advice about piping and collar tabs if anyone can help. I’m putting together an SS totenkopf tank crew and grenadiers to go with my Panzer IV...
It was a field of armour kit. I got it for under $400. A guy had lost interest in it and was selling off all his excess stuff. It needed paint and a bit of work to get it running. Still needs some bracing inside the hull but it runs well on flat ground.
