Verdigris was also used back in the day as a pigment or paint color as it was easily made and produced such a bright beautiful colour.

The green on Boba Fett is bright like that to simulate Verdigris, the patina that develops over copper armor as it oxidizes: With that in mind I like it a LOT better than if they tried to do a dark or army green. A Verdigris-worn samurai armored boba fett is so dope.
