Ugh I want more Hobbit characters in 1:6 scale… Queen Studios has the rights to The Hobbit too and showcased it in their livestream thing a while back, so maybe they’ll come in clutch and make some figures.

People say otherwise but Hobbit merch sells. Look at the aftermarket for a lot of it. Even the Bridge Direct 6 inch Azog goes for $100+. I managed to grab him a few weeks ago for around $85 (I love Azog and just really wanted the figure for a long time). And you’re right on the Thorin statues...

Hope they have the rights to The Hobbit too, and with Gandalf include his staff from that trilogy too. Love that design. I think the new CS Gandalf from Asmus even included it. Would love to see QS tackle some Hobbit characters, too.

I love his and Bilbo’s conversation as Bilbo’s preparing to leave Erebor in BOTFA. Also when he first steps through the hidden door, Stott’s acting (and Richard’s) is so raw and emotional. And I love his “the courage of Hobbits…” speech to Bilbo. Honestly, I love every part of these movies. 😂

That’s awesome, but can we get some replies to potential Hobbit figures some of us are asking for? Azog for example? Pleaaaseeee?

Are you reading this Asmus? There’s interest for these characters! Azog shouldn’t be too hard to make, regardless of the costume you give him (with or without his BOTFA armor). There isn’t too many layers you’d have to make.
