The other benefit, at least for me, is that it seems to be less costly. I was always being hit with customs fees when going through distribution, but since I switched to direct I haven’t been charged.

That’s unfortunate! Seems to be the same situation at BBTS. I didn’t mind waiting before but once the main crew started coming, I ordered Data, La Forge and Ro direct.

Having first watched the TOS crew in how they appeared in the movies, that’s the Scotty that’s more recognizable as well. He’ll be made for sure.

Six months, wow. I think I was averaging maybe 3 months after everyone else who ordered direct. As soon as TNG started coming out I switched to direct as I didn’t want to wait on them. That Ops Console needs an androids bottom in the seat asap!

He doesn’t look as good as I remember from earlier teases, these PO pictures certainly aren’t contributing much. Decent character towards the end but didn’t leave a lasting impression for me.

Not necessarily, the recent PO’s photographed by Anthony Włodarski (SixScaleMafia) have been a big improvement.
