Why not sell it for less as a defective item? I mean, your not contractually obligated to break it. I'm sure that DeLorean model with defects will make someone else happy. Just my two cents. ...and I'm the guy who bought two DeLorean models, just to convert one of them to the part 3...
Oh I understand. When it came to my 89 Batmobile, I went all out for a Proper display in my office. Lots of money went into that thing over all and I had to get rid of a book shelf in my office for the space.

The first person to buy a lightning rod hook from me had the same dilemma. He was using the fish tank method for his display. He ended up mounting the hook on the passenger side of the DeLorean, as it look on film when Marty was at the starting line before the car turned off. Genius really.

I forgot to post this here. Just finished the hood box for the part 3 desert car version I'm customizing.
Haven't attached to belts unde the hood because of how flimsy the hood is. So I may trim the belts to make it seem like it's tucked inside the hood. Not sure yet, but I'm happy with...
Just finished the hood box.
I have yet to strap the belts under the hood. Not sure what to do yet, as the hood is thin and flimsy and will not close properly. So I might cut the belts short. We'll see.
My next update will be the 50's wheels, then I'm leaving Mr.Fusion deck for last.
