I have the original MR version with non-removable blade. I was just wondering how sturdy the removable blade is when it's snapped on. Can you still swing it around without fear of the blade flying off?

What I don't understand is how they can call the Son of Frankenstein monster obscure (which in my opinion is a rather iconic look for the monster) but then they go and make Battle of Crete: German Paratrooper. I would venture to say Son of Frankenstein PF would sell better.

yeah i really loved the monster designs of the cartoon. I have the 3 DVDs that they released and i love how the Monster Wars episodes were a great homage to Destroy All Monsters. If i remember correctly even one of the scientists was named I___ube after the composer of the Godzilla theme.
