1/6 DID NS80175 U.S. Civil War Union Army Lieutenant – John Dunbar (Kevin Costner, Dances with Wolves)

I think this came out looking good and it's great to see a figure from this film. Preordered from OSK. Unfortunately this now has me hoping to see Hawkeye from Last of Mohicans, which may turn out to be setting myself up for disappointment!

1/6 Hot Toys Luke Skywalker - Dark Empire (Legends)

Dark Empire was one of the more interesting comic stories; the appeal of the comic was its unique art style though, which isn't carried over into this figure. I would have thought this a really strange release but it makes sense given that it's a pretty easy release.

Hot Toys Power of the Darkside exhibit..

I still find myself surprised at HT's fervour for Ahsoka, with so many new figures (as opposed to reuse like others). It will be interesting what they do for Acolyte, Skeleton Crew and Andor s2.

Let's talk Samurai figures & related

I'd think his brownish Japanese clothes and the dark red top, probably with his pistols too, like so? In addition to Toranaga and Mariko, I'd hope to see Buntaro as well.

Let's talk Samurai figures & related

I have a few 1/12 figures of armoured Samurai (Coomodel, DiD, YepStudio), Ninja (EdStar, Vtoys) and samurai (TwelveWorld, Notaa, AtonCustomes). My favourite is the TwelveWorld Miyamoto Musashi (Vagabond comic version). I've been wanting to get into 1/6 versions, especially in the wake of...

    InArt - Dune: Paul Atreides

I was surprised on the price for this, feels about the same as Gandalf?

Beast Kingdom Lord of the Rings figures

A bit bizarre to have another (odd) scale and then have the first figure be Gandalf again - same as everyone else. Maybe their market audience here are people who missed out on and cannot get the InArt version and those who aren't keen on the 1/12 scale version from Hell Cat?

Asmus 1/6 Lord of the Rings - Faramir

I believe the extended edition of Two Towers has a scene with Faramir holding the cloven horn.

Asmus 1/6 Lord of the Rings - Faramir

I seem to found a relatively good deal on this one. Faramir is my favourite character as well but this Asmus figure is a bit disappointing? Did you ever manage to come to grips with it, make improvements etc? I wonder whether it's worth it, even while knowing that there is likely never to be an...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Mine has arrived too and it seems almost surreal. Wonderful looking pieces (eyes might be a little off set perhaps). I am looking forward to being able to display properly. Until then, he's remaining entombed.

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi -Han Solo

Yeah, that's a good call. Much of it is just being able to perceive this release as having good value. ESB Luke comes to mind with its various bits that add to that perception, even though they are likely to just get left in the box.

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi -Han Solo

Looks like I'm going to umm and ahh over whether to get this one - it's Han Solo! But... it's ROTJ Han, and despite very fond memories of the Kenner figure with its awesome soft goods coat it's not my favourite look and doesn't really fit in my collection that well (at least not at the moment)...

    Kaustic Plastik 1/6 Toshiro Mifune

This is up for preorder at OneSixthKit/OSK (cutoff for orders in early March): Infinite Statue 1/6 Scale Toshiro Mifune in 2 styles I went for the Ronin figure too. Looks like a great figure of a superb character (Sanjuro is also one of my favourites) and hopefully it's not too long a wait (ETA...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

I just received my invoice from Kit with a note saying that it can ship tomorrow (order #90575), so it looks like there's another batch going out.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

This is off topic, but it's fascinating to see where people draw their line on adaptations and purism. Particularly when it's changes to a novel vs changes to a comparatively loose set of characters and story snippets.
