That’s really good to know. I had a feeling s25 would be too skinny. Guess I’ll stick with the s17, i don’t mind the height, I rarely pose them standing up straight anyway. Thanks for the tip.
Found this comparison, so s25b is the next size down and should be the same size as the stock body. S24a is the pale equivalent I guess. I might try that one next. There is a chart here with all the tbleague bodies...
I have the s27b which is the Last of “Survivor” Ellie body. It’s too small. The s25b is somewhere between but it’s too slim. The one I used fits the clothing so experiment I guess… or just use the default body😅
That’s fair. HT bodies were never video game proportioned, look at their Raiden from MG Revengeance. You can’t have a proportional accurate character and be in scale with the old HT stuff.
It’s more tan than the face and hands. But they themselves are not in the same tone. If you plan to display without the jacket there is a pale version of this body I think. I’m using the suntan version.
S17b is the same height and shoulder width as the default body. Just wider hips. This is TBLeague Ashley compared to the only other 2 Re figures I have. I compared to the old body before making the switch to make sure the tights would fit and it fits perfectly, so they are very close in height.
It’s pretty underwhelming, my ascot untied automatically when taking off the head. Put the triangle in front, wrap the tails around the back and tie a knot in the front. That’s what’s in the picture I posted. I’m going to sew that knot to the triangular part so it doesn’t come loose again.
Out of the box the ankles could only swivel on mine with no side to side or forward and back made this thing impossible to stand by itself. If you want more range out of the ankles, like a proper all alway around rotation, unplug the boots completely then plug them back in. I don’t know why this...
The body it comes with is not very good. Needed to replace arms to bend past 90. Neck needed some modding to stop it from shooting into the head past the stopping point. Makes you appreciate the Hot Toys quality. Tailoring is pretty good.
I feel the same way, for this one I just didn’t like the hair sculpt as much as the previous Lukes, with the Artisan I can play around with it more to make it look the way I want I guess.
I quite like this version it’s my favourite HT stormtrooper, reminds me a lot of the Jedi Outcast model. Helmet is goofy AF and it’s overall chunky, I love it i might get another one. My original didn’t come with the background
