I think they used a deeper red on the prototype

cancelled it for the ceratosaurus instead

Arrived and tbh it's a wonderful sculpture, there's not a lot wrong with the paintwork either except they haven't weathered it all so it looks too clean so I'll be doing that and that should improve it a lot. Next to rebors utahraptor

Here's some pics of mine, The bottom pic is a custom made base i made as the only way i can fit it in the cabinet is with the head facing away because the horns pretrude about 5 inches beyond the base so have made another base. I also noticed the 2 holes for the loose rocks or the baby tric...

I think $30 Is an insult I'd tell to replace or have it back for a refund, the problem with being so limited is they can't often be replaced, shame on sideshow's lack of quality control, I guess I've been lucky but im in the UK so there's even less models so just as well.

Can anyone recommend what paints to use for improvement of the sideshow Carnotaurus dinosaur, mainly weathering where sideshow didn't?
