Just because several people asked and I didn't see a response... I tried the Cape Cod cloths to remove some of the weathering. I used it on the bottom of the plastic feet and on the die-cast back. There was nothing that came off. The cloth was completely clean, no orange no gold.
No way I'm...
Fennec has arrived. Fantastic figure that I probably would have passed on if not for the Fett on throne. It can look a little bobble headed with the helmet on but with a sculpt this nice I don't think I will be facing that issue all too often.
And with a little mood lighting
Without a Jabba...
Final batch of pictures from my most recent outdoor excursion. Really liked the way the surroundings were reflected in the armor on some pictures. Even happier that my ugly mug wasn't one of those reflected surroundings :).
Just like with my other pictures I'm still kicking myself for not doing...
I've had it happen to me. It was one of the side panes. I had the unit for many years (along with 3 others) with no issues. It was kept in a temperature, light, and humidity controlled room.
Then in the middle of one night I hear a loud 'pop' that woke everyone up. Go to investigate and was...
Pictures from my most recent trip. Wish I had done a wider range of poses to add a little more interest between them. Something to keep in mind for next time I guess.

These excursions have definitely taught me to bring hobby supplies and extra wrist pegs. A...
Thanks for the kind words everyone. Much appreciated.
Unfortunately I don't live in quite as pretty of a place. I try to take a figure with me when I go camping in the central CA Sierras.
I have a trip planned at the end of April and will probably be bringing Din this time. Looking forward to...
Oldie but goodie. Was bored today so thought I'd share some pics. I have two of these and like to strip the second down to the basics to be more of a weathered standard trooper. Hope you like.
I just went through the same process about 2 months ago. The boxes were taking up over 1/4 of my garage but it felt like I would be throwing away money disposing of them. In the end though I realized I would never go though the hassle of selling the boxes alone and I would never sell a figure...
In preparation for the new season I did some work on Mando. Weathered the gloves, removed most of the weathering from the bib, used Cape Cod cloth, coated armor with semi gloss. Pretty happy with the results.
