Yes, you just have to pull the statue off the base and it stands quite well on it's own. I don't prefer the ACI Aragorn over the Asmus, I have 3 Aragorn from Asmus and they look very good. I like both. I didn't have a chance to see the Asmus Gandalf the white for real, but the Viper custom is...

Here is my collection... and my collection without Asmus's figures. Of course we're all in awe with the prodigious Inart Gandalf but let's not forget what Asmus have achieve these last 10 years. Without Asmus, no fellowship. They have done some really great figures, hope to see you soon back in...

I received my Gandalfses a few weeks ago, thanks to Kit, thank you man for great service !! This figure is absolutly stunning, mindblowing... Inart made an incredible job with the headsculpt, the hair and beard, the paint... It seems so lifelike and expressive ! The materials used for the robes...

Thanks ! I was able to get the last one. I upgraded my first version of Asmus Boromir, keeping the rooted hair and adding the new face. Much better indeed. :D

I finally decided to buy this figure, after all we don't know when/if Asmus can release a version of Lurtz and it's such an iconic character... I was not convinced by the chest protection and asked Alex if he could make a more accurate one for the production ones and he told me he will consider...
