He got exactly the same threat - something to do with the materials the statue was made of. I said to him, how the **** is he supposed to know that?! That's not his job, that's on the seller.
But hopefully moving forward there will be a digital footprint (for you and him) with customs (about...
A friend in LA is going through the same thing, it's "stuck" in Honolulu because of customs crap. It's his first JND, and after endless phone calls to JND and FedEx they assured him everything was okay and that it would be delivered on the 23rd before 8pm...
Clearly it wasn't.
Clowns.
Apparently the Japanese release doesn't have English subtitles. I was going to buy the 4 disc version and it stated it in all-capitals on one of the sites.
For the same amount of time some people have wasted defending these two films, they could have up-skilled themselves and got a degree in a new career that doesn't allow them so much free time.
:slap
I don't really want to be this harsh, but that head sculpt - particularly on a half scale that theoretically should be easier to get more accurate - is awful... one of the worst I've ever seen.
Just stumbled across this thread and thought that it might be cool, but I'm actually shocked how bad...
Just a quick FYI for those that have this: the breathing mask is upside-down in the promotional photos, and I noticed a couple of you guys had it like that as well.
Spotted this and noticed it:
Yeah, I see a cross between Tom Holland and Chalamet.
Depending on angle and lighting/time of day, changes the look dramatically as well.
Unfortunately, it's the best version so far, and the only good one on the horizon is the InArt and even that hasn't nailed the likeness either - closer than...
I guess I was meant to get this thing. Wasn't going to until I saw one in-hand, then the local retailer pre sold-out a day or two after Part Two hit. Thought to myself, it wasn't meant to be and that if JND ever does one, I'll just get that.
Got a call today from one of the guys there saying...
Even the opening scene with the teacher and the school?
That was stock-standard cinema back then, I doubt anyone would go anywhere anything like that scene now.
I remember seeing it as a kid and enjoying it - simply as a piece of entertainment in that era. I watched it about a year ago and was taken aback how brutal and unapologetic it was.
Could any of it happen? I don't know. Could the kids actually do some of what they did? Again, I don't know, as...
I agree - just saying that some said it looks like the JND, and when you put it side by side it doesn't. But if I was getting a 1/6 - it'd be InArt all the way.
I actually don't think any iteration on any scale yet has nailed it 100% yet.
To those that think it looks like the JND cowl... and as someone who owns the JND, the InArt isn't even remotely like it in any way shape or form: the "ears" are bigger and the shape is completely different on the InArt; it has got a blocky, wide shaped head, and the area from the top of his...
