I’m of the mind that instead of firing Beau, Disney should’ve put him in charge of the live action X-Men.

The only other issue with the Alien disc is that Fox didn’t bother transferring the extra scenes for the “director’s” cut. They upscaled them and the added starfield and other effects are missing. Maybe we’ll get a new transfer for the 50th anniversary? Jeez I’m getting old!

Last time I watched it I would have agreed with you that it was too long. Oddly the second time round it seemed just right.

Just watched it for a second time on the TV upstairs', 4k Dolby Vision, gotta say really fun movie and looks spectacular. I hope Snyder gets a chance to finish these.

No the UK, but back in the 70’s 2000ad, Phillippe Druillet, Moebius, Liberatore et al were a huge influence. Man , there were so many awesome comics back in the 70’s and 80’s coming out of the UK and Europe.

Well that was hugely entertaining. Really reminded of the old Metal Hurlant albums from back in the 80’s.

A Romulus Alien would be cool, but we’re still missing the definitive 1/6 Alien from the original movie.

Hopefully we’ll be getting some now that Romulus is being released.

I thought the first two episodes of this were great, really enjoyed them. Reinvigorated my love for the X-Men.
