I'm having the same issues man - when I have time I don't have money and when I have money ... well I never have money so who am I kidding? I'm really aiming for 2015 because I have a time capsule buried in a forest in a little town I need to dig up with some friends (of course I have a batman...
he's an exceptional person. at the age of 86 he sat in that chair 8+ hours a day signing autographs and talking to us boring people about things we wouldn't even care about. i talked to him for about 20 minutes and he was in no rush to get away, and then i went back later when there was no line...
2 has definitely a lot more humor than the first one. first one was just a great 70s style cerebral/lovecraft type horror rather than "in your face slasher" horror, i love both genres but something about the style of the first one just seems almost hypnotic and has great atmosphere.
thanks man...
i love the entire series. they aren't films that will change the you feel about life, but they are great entertainment imo.
last year i had the privilege to meet angus scrimm and he was beyond awesome. unlike most celebrities you meet, he was interested in hearing about his fans rather than...
thanks bro. that statue is in great condition and between that and the DC batman museum statue i'm depressed - those two were my prized possessions, ah well, hopefully one day i'll be able to buy them back.
I'm 30 and saw the film at the Alamo Drafthouse during their "Summer of 82" run (summer of 2012), and I could not help but to break out into tears from the moment you see Spock after he saves the ship to the end credits. I think that moment is designed to trigger that reaction out of all...
i totally agree with you about film being about experimentation, otherwise we wouldn't have film at all. however i saw the "regular frame rate" and all the action scenes looked terrible and were moving at x1.5 speed. that to me sort of takes away the choice of regular frame rate vs HFR and...
you guys have no idea how happy i am to read so many sensible comments here arguing against HFR, which is just a terrible idea and made a decent film (HOBBIT) look plain awful.
i have no issues with digital, but HFR just looks awful. i don't care what the brain can process in terms of FPS, all...
one can only hope for a SS Urbanator Dredd , he kicked so much ass in that film, i can't even put that awesomeness into words - a sequel would be nice but the with the lack of box office i highly doubt it
