QMX Star Trek General discussion thread

Ah, yes. Must be one of those popular “forever and exclusive” contracts every company loves to sign. They said years, not tomorrow. I for one hope there are more 1/6 offerings in the future. They’ll either have to up the likenesses or find something new to offer.

QMX Star Trek General discussion thread

Master Replicas just acquired QMx. They have a lot planned regarding Trek in general. Word behind the scenes is that includes 1/6 Trek figures. Will likely be a couple of years out to start, especially given EXO-6 are in full swing, but looking forward to seeing what they bring to the table...

Big Chief Studios: Peaky Blinders 1/6 figures

Master Replicas just acquired QMx. Anyway, they sell items they don't physically have in stock, which is terrible for customers, IMO. That's why it takes 2wks+ My Dr Who figures took the best part of a month.

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

Then you've not read the posts properly or tried to understand from an opposing POV to yours. I'm a bit negative due to price, not attacking the figure.

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

Here we go again with members putting down other members for their opinions  What is it with these particular EXO-6 threads?

Right. But then the owner is so fond of reminding everyone he's not doing it for profit. *Ah-hem*

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

Whenever something gets over the $250 mark these days, I always try to take a step back. I know I've become desensitised to a lot of the prices. The likeness painting is the best I've seen on an EXO-6 female figure so far, but all their prices are creeping up. Even the bare bones Saavik is over...

EXO-6 Star Trek "The Wrath of Khan" Figures

It's a lot of money for a secondary character.

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

Which version? I noticed they used the slightly defective away jacket in the promo. The likeness isn't too bad.

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

For me, it has nothing to do with how healthy or not my bank balance is, but what I feel is a justified RRP. Price vs quality. I thought he'd already hinted at a standard release and an away jacket deluxe. Sure, the away jacket justifies a premium because of the work. That should be obvious to...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

I was seriously considering Kruge until the price was released. Spat my tea out. I just don't see the value being that high. Sure, extra parts and all that (about $20 worth of plastic eyebrows too) but I couldn't justify that. At this rate, we're heading towards Inart prices. However, I must be...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

TMP had some good tailoring at sub $200, and I understand there’s likely more work in TWOK, but if they really are as high as $250+ then I don’t think I’ll bother either. It’s getting into the territory where quality doesn’t match the price point, and I have plenty of other things to spend my...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

I think I paid around $200 each with shipping, but that was like ten years ago.

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

I dread to think what the incoming Saavik et al figures are gonna retail at with all their "museum grade tailoring". Guess we'll find out on Tuesday.

I wasn't going to buy this, but now the burger is included, I'm in.
