That custom sculpt is very close to the previous SSR Dark Knight from a couple of years ago. My biggest gripe with SSR is that their heads are very undersized compared to the majority of other companies’ figures. Makes them look odd when in a detolf with other figures.
I’ll also say that if I based my appreciation of art on the personal actions of the artist, the only art in my home would end up being photos of my kids, grandchildren and the various pets we’ve had in over 40 years of marriage.
I’d prefer if the non expressive sculpt did not have battle damage or put the damage on the “expressive” sculpt. Other than that, which is just a personal preference, I think it looks amazing.

HaoYuToys made a 1/6 Roman gladiator figure with a pretty decent Cena sculpt. Unfortunately, it was a very limited figure (Singapore release only?) and is more expensive than this Hot Toys figure. Photo is from an ebay listing.
I ordered from Kit as soon as they went up for the short window preorder. I’m hoping KG gets their house in order. I don’t have a problem owning two figures, and doing some mods on one of them.
