The head sculpts for the most part have been spot-on. It’s the production paint application that is falling short. I just keep scratching my head… why Thorin? Great looking figure but strange pick for an upcoming release.

There was a time where I collected a lot of 1/12 figures. It boiled down to space, much easier to display all the figures in the collection vs 1/6 which takes such a huge footprint.

Agreed, the hair sculpting needs to be finer and they currently are more like tendrils. Not saying it’s horrible but the sculpted strands of hair could be “thinner”.

I was able to get ahold of Tomy’s customer service and cancel my order for a full refund. I imagine I’m not the only one canceling so, if you’re in the market for one and can live with the plugs/seams, be on the lookout for it in Tomy’s shop.

What really kills me about the plugs is they put them on the wrong side!!! The display base is designed to show the side of the ship with the plugs! If the plugs were on the other “non-display” side of the ship, I might have gotten over it. But someone F-ed up designing the base (or the ship)…...

I will be letting mine go (soon as I have it in-hand). I can’t get over the plugs and am pretty disappointed in Tomy’s effort with this piece.

Didn’t the pandemic cause this film to pause and go on hiatus, while they figured out how to handle Covid during a production? And then when Pattinson returned, he had lost so much weight, it caused issues on set? Remember reading something about the director chewing him out for loosing so much...

I liked Rios and the whole holo-command ship with multiple personalities. Since Rios was left in the past, I can see how he doesn’t play into any future episodes. Jurati on the other hand… not saying I liked the character or the whole Queen thing they did with her but how do you not reference...
