What's hilarious is that you are the one that quoted me to begin with and in my attempt to express my point you tell me that things are going over my head.
"If it dies out or breaks then it would be the same as never having any to begin with." That is really an absurd argument. So I should use that arguement in the future when re-selling something? When something breaks, it effectively detracts from the final piece. So my point is, I want as few...
I should be getting mine on Monday.
I'm surprised to hear these reports that it has so much heft to it. I might have to be a bit creative when it comes to displaying it then.
Given GG's record of relatively poor paint application on living/human characters I'm not all too surprised to hear this.
I do get the want to have light-up features. As you say, when (and if) they work, it looks great. But it's that risk of ending up with a "defective" statue, a few years down the road, that ruins it for me. The quality of the wiring and internal components is down to the individual factories, but...
Light-up features introduce a long list of new ways a statue can be "broken". Internal wiring channels, battery compartment, various wiring connections. So many potential points of failure - and you can't do nothing to fix them but complain to CS.
I don't see how "litterally anything [...] can...
No thanks. I hate light-up features. It will eventually stop working and then you are left with a defective statue. No thanks.
This looks good to me. I love The Mandalorian, but I don't think I'll be getting this. At least not right away. But maybe if the production piece looks really good, I...
I don't think so. I am still waiting for mine to be shipped. I think I'm pretty far down the list though. But once I get it, I will do unboxing, review and comparison to the S01 helmet.
I really like the person who made the Mando PF. He has a fantastic portfolio.
I hope to see a new PF from SSC. I'd definitely get it if it looks good. I'd love to see maybe Will Harbottle do that.
SSC Mando PF is such a missed opportunity. People that like it are people that I disagree with in terms of aesthetics at a fundamental core level. It looks like a characature of the Mandalorian. He simply doesn't walk like that. No one walks like that. I don't get it!
I'm growing more and more interested in this. Seeing the recent GG pieces with their horrible likeness this seems to be on the better end of the scale. I have it PO'ed and I think it's going to be a keeper right now.
