I like Sideshow's new concept of smaller statues (not just for Court of the Dead) if they are highly detailed, well painted and reasonably priced. Depending on how those 3 variables (detail, painting, price) turn out I might buy some of these.
Received mine a few days ago but only managed to inspect it today. It is a stunning piece. Initially I only cared about the masked head but I have to admit the exposed face is very well painted, especially the murky dead eyes and the purple hues around them. I hope Sideshow will do more pieces...
Sideshow posted some new photos. I would assume they start shipping in a week or two.

The only thing that bugs me are the wrists which needed some putty and sanding but the paintjob is amazing. What material is the head made of? Maybe it's the paint but it appears to be somewhat translucent in some spots like the nose.
Didn't expect the 2 different heads, I thought it would be one head with a detachable mask. I hope the arms fit tight on to the shoulders. Overall both the sculpting and paint app look excellent, can't wait for her to arrive next month.
This is very exciting news, I watched Robotech as a kid! Is this going to be a statue or an articulated figure? And what scale/size is this going to be?
Seems sculpt is still being worked on. This would look really menacing in a display with proper low lighting. Is it going to be a kit or a painted statue?
I'm curious to see the size, pose and paint app on this. Personally I'd rather see something different like a diorama style Alien piece similar to the base of the Alien King with the swarm of Aliens but in a slightly larger size.
