I don’t really do reviews, never have, but the truth is, and I know some stuff is going to have to be done, having said that; I really like this figure.

It’s going to need some futzing, a dremel will have to be taken to the stand of the base of the chair, but I think it all can be worked out relatively easily.

Will examine the paint job on the scuplt once I have daylight to work with ...

Someone smarter than me will have to figure out the exact amount that needs to be dremel’ed off of the base stand peg thingy ...

Should be as simple as measure the distance from the bottom of his foot to a flat surface that everything is sitting on, then take that distance and shave it off of the peg, but isn’t it strange how sometimes these things don’t work out as expected.

Thanks for the pics! I agree, with some futzing this will look great on a shelf.

Rough estimate (because God knows futzing with him in the chair will add and/or change this distance, but just in case anyone is interested):

I’m guessing it’s 1 1/8th inch to be shaved off ...

I agree, regardless of the height issue, in my opinion, that’s a real easy fix [emoji1303]
Honesty, in hand, it’s gorgeous

What do you think about the material and the tailoring of the robe? I think my biggest gripe I can see from pics and video is the seam lines on the sleeves and hood. Thanks for posting here!

Had a little play around in paint this morning to highlight the differences in the sculpts. It looks like a new sculpt to me as you can see there are lots of minor but noticeable changes which definitely change the overall look of the finished product to the prototype. The laughter lines are a different angle, the mouth, chin and eyes are definitely a different shape too. Anyway, just thought it was interesting to see the changes. I personally prefer the prototype version myself but it still looks pretty good. Hope this is useful!

It's the same sculpt as the proto...angles and lighting make it appear different..

Posed up and with a little TLC this will look fantastic:)

Great pictures faststreets.

Before you get the dremel out, Can you not shuffle him down lower and flatter in the throne. You have him very upright and very high in the chair when he slouches back a lot more in the film. His head shouldnt be so close to the top of the chair.

Just a thought!

I’m not gonna do anything to the chair for now, I need to let him “be” for a day or so, then do a lot of thinking and futzing, then a re-evaluation at that time [emoji1303]

Ha ha, thank you so much sir.....doesn't get better than Indy does it? I'm on a permanent customising quest with that guy!

Right now, I'm intensely jealous of your Emperor! Will be a month or so until he gets to me I think.

I’m jealous of Gal Gadot’s husband ...
