Not getting this, but this is a truly beautiful looking piece.

What else would they place it on? A giant whale and she’s coming out of the blow hole? That would actually have been cool now that I think about it.

Now that would be impressive. I have no problem with the black base though. If I was a fan of the comic I would definitely buy this. I really want sideshow to make Witchblade and The Darkness. Now those books I was a fan of. Maybe if the XM pieces go down in price I'll consider those since that Darkness piece is truly impressive.

XM’s Witchblade is one of my favorite pieces, I got it for around 700 though which is around 160 more than SS pieces now. XM’s come with multiple switch out pieces though, plus their own special storage box which isn’t cardboard, an art print and overall better quality usually.

I think this is just gorgeous. Her portrait is beautiful ...and sculpt is spot on.

The water could have a bit more blue to it, but its not a deal breaker.

The production portrait is not quite as pretty as the prototype one but it's still a decent looking statue...

Seems like her face got a bit distorted from the prototype, her eyes seem even further apart then they were before... still a decent looking statue but after seeing the prototype I have to pass..

Awesome news! Already at 14 day processing.

New production pics are up on her blog, too. IMO, looks better than the pics from the out of the box vid.

You do realize that ocean water splashing is clearer the farther it gets from the surface right? I think the production version face actually looks better than the prototype.

The prototype base was beautifully tinted resin with a nice transition effect and the production base looks cheap and rushed. Not sure how bait and switch is comical, but to each their own.
