To be fair how much time do we really see Marty in the jacket/vest along with Doc in the radiation suit? I mean there’s the test sequence at the Twin Pines Mall and then the end where Mary returns to 1985. I’m guessing those parts add up to maybe fifteen to twenty minutes. In reality I think a 1955 Doc would make more sense if we’re going by screen time but the radiation suit is more iconic. I’m happy to have a Doc at all though.

I wouldn't dismiss them totally. Hot Toys will just come out with figures when you least expect. When is the next major toy fair?

Aside from the regular announcements from Facebook or wherever the big toy fairs aren’t until summer. SDCC and a few Asian ones happen that time of year.

Yeah, those are really what I’m hoping for. Would love to see old west versions of Marty and Doc. I want a Doc from the original film as well but I’ve always liked the looks from the third film. I’d take the figures displayed at SDCC last year too though. Really in terms of figures from this franchise I’ll buy any that are released. I didn’t buy the DeLorean only because it was too expensive and I don’t have the space but any figures I can get is great.

On a side note, I just jumped on the WL for the special edition. Kind of took a brake from collecting for the last months. What are the chances for it to still converting?

I am sure this has been brought up in the past. But, just in case it has not been.....this outfit is in both parts 1 and 2. So, technically you can pair up the first Marty with this Doc.

OK, so believe it or not, the second or third person who posted in this thread mentions it. I should read more.
Long time follower, first time poster. Just wanted to show my setup for this iconic duo! Overall I love them both out of box! They look great and are just great to add to the collection and a must have for any die hard fan of the franchise.

I kind of wonder why Hot Toys included accessories that don’t go with this version of Doc (the briefcase of money and the exclusive walkie talkies). Still glad to get them though. I’m holding out hope that we might get the version displayed at SDCC that better suits those accessories.

Got this figure today and I really like it. I never disliked it from the pictures but was a bit underwhelmed, however I think it’s one of those figures that’s better in hand. Really like all the details in the outfit and accessories and honestly even the sculpt looks better.

I think mine comes tomorrow, looking forward to setting him up with Marty, and I especially want to see the money briefcase
