Hey mate, I sent a few questions on the Facebook page:
-are there more infos on the european warehous mentioned on the other board? It would be great for EU customers
-also, the latest pics have E.Ryu with (apparently) the same skin tone of the standard Ryu, while his skin should be darker and was darker in the proto pics. Will that be fixed?

I noticed a slight more bruising and dirtyness on the hands, fingers, feet and toes on the proto. Really wish it was on factory pieces. Would be icing on an already icey cake. Always zooming in on hands and feet for this one in the pics. There was really alot of paint detail on the proto in these areas.

I'm confused with this...going forward will this be fully painted? I've seen some of the comments pages back saying that is pre-painted?

fully painted and pre-painted is the same thing

essentially going forward protoz will not offer unpainted kits (or kits of any kind)

Don't worry, the outcome will be good. I promise.

Erick has been working extremely hard to find a warehouse in Europe to save European customers money, unfortunately for his first release of Ryu that will not be possible.

The next release is akuma, by then Erick will have a warehouse in Europe, so he can send it directly from Europe to the European customers to save money. He didn't realize it could take a couple of weeks. As of now Ryu will only be shipped from the USA. Moving forward though, it will be shipped from a European warehouse.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm pretty sure that was the lighting, the skin from what I've seen will be the same as Regular Ryu.

You are right, looking back at the pics, Ryu and E.Ryu have the same skin tone and it appeared a bit darker on both in the first pictures (I think, digitally painted) than the production samples. But it's not very relevant :)
Thanks for the infos, with the chance of an european warehouse and pay in full discount I was pretty much sure of picking up 2x, but with no european distribution and no pay in full discount on E.Ryu I must go just for 1x of E.Ryu, which is my must have :)

It really, I promise you will not be disappointed with quality at all, everyone who buys these will be very satisfied. :)

So, how does a two payment plan sound for Evil Ryu sound to you? Instead of one that is? Erick is considering this, but wants to here from his customers. Please everyone who is interested respond.

Thanks.

Also, if you liked the samples Erick showed before, those were without his my QC team, now with Erick's team they have even improved those to look even closer to the prototype if you can believe that.

Just my 0.02 but pretty much everything is better than full upfront payment for customers, usually. Allows to budge and plan better, only instance when full payment works better is when it comes with a discount... and not always. But payment plans are useful because they go along with your monthly income and make the expense more manageable than churning out half a salary or so in one single payment.
As a general rule, having more choices is always better than having less choices for customers, to meet all needs. In this instance, giving both full payment upfront and 2-times payment plan as an option can only be beneficial for customers and do no harm at all.

I said the same exact thing to Erick, thanks for agreeing with me. :)

If Evil Ryu is only going to be 100 es then I'd rather it be paid it full to deter flippers.

Hmm in my experience it doesn't work that much, with PCS stuff flippers are split quite evenly between those who resell deposits and those who resell the fully paids - talking about statues the same price point of these by Prototypez. Seen a lot of 1:3 Akumas and Ryus and Scorpions being sold with full payment.
Even moreso if the ES is only 100 - has that been confirmed? I still think it's a bad idea to give a fixed ES to Evil Ryu, especially one that low. It's been proven more than once that E.Ryu is pretty much as popular as Ryu and the market already has some alternative for 1/4 Ryu, while pretty much none for Evil Ryu except the super expensive first PCS release.

I'm not worried about securing my copy because I'll be there the moment PO opens, but I do think it could cause unnecessary headache between SF collectors, that are known to be completists. It still makes more sense to me if they have an open ES with a capped (and "secret") maximum, like, 700 pieces in 1/4 scale in whatever combination of Ryu + E.Ryu.
