I felt that way, but after handling Batman, I think it's worth it. Such well-designed, fun figures. I don't think I've enjoyed actually playing with a toy that much in years.

Then again, I also spent $150 on a 7.5-inch tall War Machine figure the other day, so my conception of value might be a little screwy.

Really? I much prefer cloth over the rubber. I'm mainly a 1/6 guy but those 1/12 Dark Knight figs were just awesome.

Cloth not looking good on 1/12 is a thing of the past.

Since 3A started making their portables, most toy makers who've attempted realistic clothing in 1/12 have done a pretty good job.

Now Mezco nailing them too. No need to fear.

I can enjoy both, sculpt and fabric, both have their strengths.

Mezco's Batman is the best I've seen in that regard. Pretty much no meaningful restrictions from the suit. Hopefully Armoured Batman is just as well-designed—articulation on that one will be hard to pull off

Man, I'm tempted by that Batman, but I was planning on holding out for the armored version when I saw them both teased yesterday. It would be tough to swing both of them. It seems odd to me that they would tease them just a day before they're available to PO, but then only post a few pictures of each when they go up for PO, and you can barely make out either figure in the pictures!

What's everyone's thoughts on when these sell out?

These won't sell out on PO I think. But won't last long in stock if they're as good as their other releases.

Although Dredd is still easy to find. Easier than Batman.
