Simply Toys just emailed me to say that they are not allowed to ship XM products to Europe, so this just gets better and better.

Europe lol I believe Germany italy Spain and some others are save?
 
I wanted to answer Mule's post but it is suddenly gone...

Yes, creativity is asked for but it also has to be safe because I can see a lot of problems arise with the current situation...

PS: Getting my money back is the least of my concerns, they are one of the biggest retailers in Asia, so they will honour their refunds. Don't put extra fear in people...

Agreed money back is not the problem its this situation thats just too unfair + vague I mean XM can ship to Germany and other EU assigned places and ST cant whats going on there?

I know its sideshow/marvel but Jezus stupid part is they wont touch XM in anyway and dont get me wrong I love XM and whatever it is they are giving them a bad name too whats total bull aswell, but now they are hurting just the little man thats the only thing they are ******* with

And something else I dont blame ST for any of this but there must be a solution now

The solution is dont sell/distribute outside your contractual zone. Some of you keep missing that. SS is not the bad guy here.

Also, I believe ST can't ship to Europe because there is already a European distributor, you have to go through them (Not sure why that matters, but it must be an issue somehow.)

People are losing out on hundreds of dollars when it comes to their refunds because they paid ST in full to receive a discount, but the exchange rate was better back then so when they get their refunds thy are losing out bigtime. People are talking about it over on SF of you want to see the discussion.

$100's? Really? I was just looking and can only see $20 etc. What post number?
 
They can't ship to the UK though can they? I've emailed a few of them and they all said no.

No they don't but I have a contact in one of the countries they do despatch to. I should have noted that in hindsight!

Orders that Simply Toys never should have taken. There is no way to make everyone whole in this, as these orders never should have been opened to the majority that placed them to begin with.

Pretty sure the only solution it going to be to suck it up and move on. The exchange rate is always a risk, same as if it had gone the other way and the refund was worth more.

Yeah, I am in Germany, but I dont know for how much longer, so I am too gun shy to order from them in case they don't ship before I have to move. Would only buy if in stock, but that is likely never to happen.
