That happened to me at various times during the day, but when I click on the order and look at the status it still says shipping soon, which means within 72 hours it will be shipping. Not sure why the flip-flopping on this thing?

I have no idea man. I thought for sure that I was gonna wake up and see the Quantum View in my e-mail.
The only thing that's for certain about this piece is that nothing's for certain.:lol

With the replacement I got the head had a huge seam and sat quite a bit above the neck.

I took a pair of tweezers and worked that plastic thing out of the neck hole. The head sits fine now, although it is very loose, looks a thousand times better.

i suspected the post was too long. now that it's out, try to cut it down. if you decide not to, a bit of zap a gap glue will hold that head in place.

Yes, the post was longer then the first head I got but removing that plastic thing in the neck hole fixed my problem of the floating head.

I have a huge dilemma. My original portrait has a small chip at the back that isn't noticeable when viewed from the front but I will always know its there; nevertheless it fit pretty good with not much of a noticeable seam. However, the replacement head came in today and while it is in perfect condition, it doesn't really fit that well, the seam is very noticeable and doesn't look as good as the original when displayed. Not sure which one to keep; the undamaged one that doesn't fit well and looks kind of weird or the one that looked good on display but is slightly damaged at the back :gah::huh

I'd try filing the peg on the perfect head first to see if the seam goes away.

Arrived mine today ... :(

good idea i am going to try that, is it easy to remove? I used a thin screwdriver try to make the plastic hole bigger by drilling in it but it didnt do much. Everytime i look at it the seam between the head and neck bothers me.

Still havent heard back from sideshow about the missing ex hand sigh.

Finally, after days of anxious waiting, Witch King in True Form #91/300 has arrived! :yess: The smiling FedEx delivery guy handed the box to me and said "Have a good one, mate!" (you gotta love Aussie courtesy!). I smiled back and thought "I hope so." The box appears to be in good form and heard no rattling inside, so it must be a good sign. :wink1: And true enough, as I finished unpacking the box, I am so happy that my statue has arrived in exactly 6 pieces! No chips, no breaks, no other anomalies! Thank you SS! And thank you FedEx Aus (Syd) for taking care of my statue! Such a beautiful statue! It really complements well the Ringwraith statue. :clap Some pics.

Secondary inside box is intact with edge foams for extra protection and SS voucher codes to entice more spending! :lol

All in one piece (whew!), though the styrofoam was messy and particles were all over the place!

With flash.

Grats:wave...With a super bright light or black light or bright flash on him he looks good and lighter otherwise it was still too dark for me...The flash up close makes him look good or more film like...IMHO:wave

:yess:Another Witchking has landed savely: I am really glad it happened before my holiday next week, but even better: no issues as far as I can see!

(Well, other than that stupid plastic ring already described by others, that prevents the head to sit properly on its shoulders, poor design by SSC!)

The long wait was worth it and today I feel fortunate and happy! Let me share some impressions with you! :)

First we have the opening ceremony (I was holding my breath!):
