One more down, two more to go...

Oh yeah, and that Priority box it's sitting on? That's what he mailed it in. It's barely bigger than the figure. Thank god it was perfect but it could've been a disaster. You think people would have more sense to pack a $60 figure better.

I have ordered more than one carded Joe in the past that were shipped to me in large envelopes. Not even padded ones. One came smashed and I returned it, the other one got bent up a bit, but I kept it. The latter would have been AFA worthy if it had been sent in a box, even a box with no padding. These are $100-200 figures. Mind-boggling.

Yikes! That's scary. I had something like that a while ago but thankfully it wasn't anything too valuable.

Original 1977/78 Kenner 12" Star Wars collection on the left, 1996-99 Kenner/Hasbro versions on the right. Still missing vintage Leia and R2 and 1997 Stormtrooper - not interested in Fett nor IG-88 for this display.

All figures are complete except for vintage Obi Wan yellow lightsaber and vintage Jawa's bandolier and gun - still search regularly on eBay for them. New Leia isn't out of her box yet because I've had about enough of untying plastic-covered wire for today.

Thought some of you might want to check this out. Finally put up some pics of my minty blue Snag! :)

Check it out here: https://collecting-toys.blogspot.ca/

That's a good looking Blue Snags there, DPrime. It's really hard to find this guy without much of the silver worn off his boots. I'm searching for one sealed in a Kenner Baggie. Not easy to find...

I sold a complete Jawa and R2 on eBay recently. Still have a Fett to sell if you're interested. :wave

Just curious. Such a great display. Why wouldn't you finish it out with Fett and IG-88 ?

Because that means a lot of difficulty trying to fit everything into this space. And how would I group them? It means having to also get the two vintage versions plus the Hasbro IG-88 which I don't have. ;) I know it would complete my vintage 12" collection, but Fett and IG-88 are kind of odd-ball characters in that series, not having been in the first movie.

Anyway, I won't say never - it might happen. I was hoping to feature Vader up top alone because both figures are large and hard to display with others - it was originally going to be Vader and Stormtroopers up top but it was very crowded..

I finally got around to taking individual pics of my recent toy haul.

Here's some select shots of the nicer/more desirable stuff that I'm keeping.

First up is MOTU. I'll post pics of Super Powers and Thundercats soon.

That is pretty kick@i$$ dude!!! :rock

A couple questions; what condition would those mini comics be in - would the paper be yellowing at all?

..& how did you find such pristine sets like those?!? :thud: :lol

I'd love to get a few of those guys.. the He-Man & Man-E bring back some fond memories. :1-1:

The mini comics should be fine. I doubt they'd ever yellow while still sealed.

I was lucky enough to buy someone's collection.

Nice pics Nintendojoe

Thanks.
