The Skeletor statue is definitely bigger than 1/6. Or at least he seems to be. He towers over my Iron Men Hot Toys. He's probably closer to Iron Monger's size.

Yep,
there were a couple of Rotocast figures, one of Snake Armor He-Man and regular Skeletor... they were pretty cool back in the day.
I've been tempted to get Skelly for a while now...

that could work really well.. how hard is that skeletor to find?

heman as well for that matter...

... Hate to break it to you....

but it's the OTHER way around.

which, for the record, those japanese cartoons were made in 1981

Doesn't really matter, that combiner look had it's apex with Voltron in the States. Maybe if MMPR stuck to simply porting over the Goranger stuff it wouldn't stick out so badly. You can like it for what it is, but it will always come off as a poor derivation to me.

Oh wow... for some reason I thought the 15" measure was for the whole figure including base and swords...
So jealous of you Jon!

:lol

I was lucky to get him on the .Org for about $250 a year or so ago. I think it is pretty much the only 200X thing I own now. I think I decided to track it down after someone was talking about how awesome it was on RGD. I DID over shoot the size a wee bit. Definitely bigger than your regular 1/6, but not as big as Iron Monger. :) When I got home I was able to get a better look. Here's a terrible iPhone I pic to show about how large it is:

Thanks for the info lerath. I might have to track down a set... Hopefully it's on Amazon.ca (I'm guessing not, though, since all Canadian versions of American companies suck in comparison!).

I could never do Power Rangers. Too load, garish and just naff for me!

All part of its charm!

Pink Ranger was yummy though!

Darn right she was. :)

Seems to work. There's no reason why Skeletor shouldn't be a hulking behemoth compared to us regular mortals, right?

Still does me no good.... the Rotocast skeletor is a good start.

Planning on making a custom 1/6th skeletor, using the Kaustic plastik "Superhero" body.

But i need to find his weapons, gear, and etc.

or atleast a place to start.

Wait, a vision is coming to me... I see you learning how to sculpt and cast parts in resin and plastic... ;)

I got my first two Snake Men in the mail today: King Hssss and Snake Face. I keep being impressed with this line! Even characters who I wasn't a fan of in the show end up looking excellent!

I don't have to learn. I know how. I'm just trying to be lazy :D

Looking forward to seeing it (eventually). :)

Anyone try their hand at a 1/6th movie Skeletor? That would be quite a thing to see as well...

Great figures, congrats!

BTW, did the Snake Men ever show up in '80s media? Or were they too late to the party?

1/6 movie Skeletor would be amazing. If a company ever produced that and He-man I'd buy them.

Kobra Khan was in the 80s cartoon, but the Snake Men were a wise and good race/kingdom.

btw, Kobra Khan is $80 now? Crap.

mutiple SDCC exclusives?

Lighthope? (explains the Mask at NY Toy Fair)

and The Rock Warriors?

We'll see :)

Light HopeLight Hope is a magical entity composed entirely of light. He is the guardian of The Crystal Castle, and acts as a mentor and advisor to She-Ra in her battle against Hordak and the Horde. Light Hope is the Etherian version of the Sorceress.

Light Hope is voiced by Lou Scheimer in the 80s series.

Well if this is true I will pass on "Light Hope" as I get rid of any POP figures not in the horde. I will pick up the Rock Warriors.

I saw that hint also and have no idea who else they could be referring to. Lighthope makes sense, but I would be surprised to see that and a Rock Warriors 2-pack at SDCC. I wouldn't complain though. An exclusive is a much better spot for a character like Lighthope than being in the subscription.
