This was one of my best figures of 2012, had him for 4 months now and i still stare at it. Its scary how accurate the likeness is on the cowl sculpts, well worth its price. Now if only EB would announce their TDK suit :pray:

well, technically they could.

By giving us lforigno cape, and a movie accurate position magnets for the cowl clips.:lol

I'm gonna try and mod mine like thrust's. It looks amazing :panic:

yeah, lforigno cape is a must-have. i've posed him when i got this figure with the stock-cape. it feels good, but still the look and the length of it can't compare with lforignos cape. i just love the intense black look of the cape. and those magnets are horrible, that's why i just took them away -.-

and took some more shots today at daylight...

wow :clap

Can you explain what mods or how you attach the clips then, if you dont use the magnets? I wanna display mine like yours :panic:

yes of course, i haven't done any huge mods to it, so it's very simple.
i only took the magnets under the suit and clips off and using tape to connect the clips with the cowl, like this:

as for the cape, i've ordered the normal one from lance, just like the 1/6 capes, where it has a hole to be put on the neck. the only trick is now not to put the cowl completely over the cape, just like in the pic from this post with the paper-tape-method, but the cape goes over the cowl from the shoulders on. i hope it's understandable what i'm writing here ^^ the cowl on the back is under the cape, but on the front above it...

other mods have been lowering the belt and padding the shoulders just a little bit with foam. that's it :)

That looks amazing thrust. I've been toying with the Idea of getting lforigno's cape myself, I really like the entebay cape so I can't imagine how good lforigno's looks in hand. So the cape with the hole for the neck can still be placed over the cowl on the shoulders huh?

yes the hole itself was big enough, so the cape on mine could be placed over the cowl, even in the pose where the cape is covering the body like on mine. posing the cape over the cowl is even easier, and if it's still not like you want it, you can cut the hole and using the magnet-method

I'm reading it a few times, but I'm still trying to understand it :gah:I think I will have to try and figure it out at the same time though:lol I'll try to use the 1/6 version that I have to figure it out. :lol

can you achieve similar drape effects on the shoulder area with the 1/6 version? Because I tried a few times, and the shoulder area doesn't look natural, it kinda bulge and float unnaturally. :gah:

Well no word from Enterbay on my missing part or scratched stand. May have to make a trip myself there with help from Lucius and Alfred. :wink1:

So I took out the foam behind the belly and it does look better. Still may take more foam out from the low back. The belt does fit better but I am not happy with the placement yet. What did you guys do with the belt to get it right?

use twisties wire to extend and secure, through the loops at the back of the belt.

Ended up doing the twist tie, worked fine. Still wish we didn't have to do it. The figure is just so awesome though so it makes it a small annoyance. I don't really want to pull anymore foam from the body but I may do what Maglor did. This way I can ditch the twist tie.

I did just that -- the "liposuction", that is similar to Maglor's method, and I never had to put twisty ties on the belt. It hangs just right :)

There is a video for that in YouTube ..... All also the video to do Tge cape modification. Did that on my batman. And it's just sweet.

Luckily mine came with no obvious qc issue.:lol

I did see the vids but wasn't sure I was going to just take the foam out or mod the belt. Well I just went ahead and took more foam off. This time the hips and the belt fits great with no twist tie needed. Very happy with this. So I did the clip mod and took foam off the belly and hips. I think I am done with the modding.
Mine did have some qc issues which I hope get sorted.
